  1. First time I've seen this one Martin, another corker for your superb collection!
  2. Glad to see your getting the hang of it mate - great to have you aboard
  3. One of our lads in the Club did one of these a few years back. He added the Loco and a flatbed with an 88 mounted on it. I seem to remember that the Leo and the loco were both trumpeter in the same scale, they didn't fit on the same track without a tussle. Beautiful big site though when completed. Keep up the good work.
  4. Hi Julian, after following many of your floaty builds on the.....erm "other" forum, I find myself totally engrossed in this superb build. So much so, like my best mate Beefy, I have been inspired and have taken the plunge with a flighty thing myself. Thanks for passing on invaluable advice & tips on this and previous builds - I look forward to following this and many more of your threads to completion. Cheers Brian
  5. Miniart GAZ trucks....................................Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Kayell knows where I'm coming from. (I will get back to it, I promise) Brilliant finish Andrew - well done! Brian
  6. In this case Vitor, BIG is beautifull - A Jolly Green Giant from Russia with love Brian
  7. Two beautifully finished kits Andy Brian
  8. I picked up a Tamiya 1/24 1966 VW Karman Ghia at Huddersfield on Sunday, which is a kit I hadn't come across before. I have the recent Revell 1/16 version which is a great kit but the Tamiya kit is quite impressive from 1992 - well chuffed! Brian
  9. Cracking job Andy, love the finish and the presentation Brian
  10. Beautiful work once again Andy. I have the first kit with the interior detail in my stash. I am really impressed with Meng kits having just finished building the T90 - it now awaits paint and weathering. Brian
  11. WOW! Stunning build and finish and a bigger WOW on the photography Brian
  12. Nice one Keith, a total transformation from a very ordinary, small, old kit, that in the right hands, can turn into something of beauty. Can wait to see it complete!
  13. He did get a park though and a song
  14. Hi guys, I found this kit a dream to build and it turned out great (there are some pics. on here somewhere of the finished item) I think from start to finish (pre-paint) the kit took less than a couple of hours to complete, with no fit issues at all. Brian
  15. Hi Steve, this is the first build I have seen of this AFV. It looks upto the normal Meng standard - the detail is great and the innovation they use with jigs etc to help build up tracks and bend PE is first class. I thought at first that the tracks on the T90 would be a nightmare but they turned out a pleasure to build and very authentic looking. Great build so far mate, looking forward to the rest. Brian
  16. Great build Steve. I've just finished the Meng T-90, probably the best kit I've ever built but now the fun really starts - painting it!
  17. You've done it again Vitor, you've turned a "green thing" into a multi-toned work of art. Well built and beautifully weathered. I think you and Kayell (Big Keith) really have the real deal on green Russian armour - ancient & modern Brian
  18. As anticipated, this build thread has not let me down. Thanks again for sharing it Jorgen, you are an inspiration! Brian
  19. Absolutely beautiful! Well done Bob, they make very pleasing viewing, you are a master Brian
  20. Great job on such a small subject Bernd, it just proves it doesn't have to be big to be beautiful Brian
  21. Great work on a relatively modern piece, beautifully finished!
