  1. Hey Ste, if this is the Revell kit, I'm busy with the same one right now and as my second car build I'm finding it a joy to put together. Painting is just beginning as the yellow and black version with maybe a build log to follow. Good job, by the way! Thanks for sharing Brian
  2. Lovely job mate, as usual! Another one for the table with the rest of the "green allied section". See you soon.
  3. Excellent result Neil! - I really enjoyed following your build on this - top marks!
  4. that's a great looking Churchill and you're weathering method has worked a treat - big pat on the back sir!
  5. Another fine example of how good these much berated in-expensive kits can turn out - well done!
  6. That's a really good build mate - well done. I'm also glad you haven't covered it with the obligatory "hide the goof-ups" mud.
  7. Lovely job again there Keith - those "V" paints you're using are getting some hammer, you'll be topping them up shortly. Seriously though mate, it's looking great!
  8. Thanks for your input guys, no doubt I'll post my results here on BM. Brian
  9. OK you specialist car guys, what is the best colour primer to use for bright gloss yellow? White, grey or black? Also for the gloss coat, rattle can or airbrush?? Thanks in advance! Brian
  10. Great build so far Chris. I have just finished the Revell Cabriolet Beetle as my first car build last night and finally got my mojo back. I'll post some pictures in the completed section soon. I was really impressed by these Revell kits as they go together extremely well. I was so impressed that I have accquired the Citroen 2CV Charleston and started that last night, with a build log to follow. I also have the 1/16 Revell Beetle and the Karman Ghia - really nice kits at a great price. I used the Tamiya rattle can for the body but would be interested in what gloss you will used and will it be can or airbrushed. I think I will airbrush the 2CV beacuse I think I will have more control, but have never airbrushed gloss before - any tips? Brian

  15. It looked great on Sunday mate I see your sponsorship must have come through from Vallejo then
  16. Love the Fama mate, it looks what it is, a very heavy work-horse exceptionally well finished. Brian
  17. Did the tracks fit OK? One review I read said they were short, was that the case or just poor construction?
  18. What sort of price range is this going to retail at?................any ideas??
  19. Great job. I did the the Dragon 1/72 Jagd in a Tri coloured cam, not too dis-similar to this, I'll have to get some shots up. Keep them coming Brian

  22. I can't believe I missed this Keith, smashing job mate, another new one for the table
  23. Exactly what Lil' Keith said, those tracks have really worked out well
  24. I don't blame you for putting it on or the kit manufacturers for including it. There is no law in modelling that says everything has to be historically correct, as long as you enjoy building it and YOU are happy with the result. If movies went by the same premise, then Hollywood wouldn't exist! .........but we still enjoy the movies
