Hi fellas! I want to share with you another of my birds of prey. Please welcome Su-27! As additional sets i used a correctional nose cone and fiaps from "quick boost" and stencil decals from "begemot", Eduard interier and exterier PE sets. The assembly works was hard and it takes a kilo of putty ( )and a couple weeks of sanding works. The kit was gifted to me by my wife. So that why i was must to trace this work to the finish line))))) In paintworks i used AKAH color set "Russian flankers". The prototype is an 689 guard fighter regement "Alexandr Pakryshkin" of the Baltic fleet aircraft which locating in my city at Chkalovsk airfield.

Wow! Excellent build! Great paintwork! Let me ask you a question: why you do not want to make a faded weathering (like under the hot arabian sun a real mig)/ By my oppinion it should give more realistic... Any way, the the model is a brilliant! Respect!

Awesome work! Very interesting wethering! P.S.: funny play of words- in Russian army "black tulip" is a cargo aircraft which takes away killed troops from battle field...

Hi every one! There is enother Flogger at this site. the assembly of the kit is the real pleasure! Paintwork was similar as each one of my models. Wethering: preshading, lightening each of the pannels,postshading. oil paint dots and finaly washing. Model was built as a gift to my father which had served as armament aircraft engeneer. in 21 july 1978 this aircraft (02 blue) intercepted and shooted down pair of iranian CH-47"chinook" (first by AA missile, second- by gun fire). in that time My father was just graduated young leutenant and that incident was the maiden battle experiance in fathers career. Remark: the color scheme in that period was air defence light gray. Great build! On this and last New year Santa entered to me the same (almost) kit (in 2012 ADV in 2014 IDS version) And your post I will use as tutorial;-) (there is the one Russian modeller web site "karopka.ru", which have in every New Year eve organizing a project: every member of the project before one month to New year getting (random by computer choice) a post address of the new year gift recipient.In other word you are becaming the anonim Santa. And thanks to the christmas magic I am for two year in a row got the revell 1/72 "tornado" from different isolated each from other Santas :-) P.S. Sorry for my poor english. I hope you will understand me correctly:$

Hello collegues! That is my another bird! Very nice kit from Trumpeter 2013. In construction i have got only pleasure and interesting!)) Paint work were whith revell and AKAH acrylic paints/ Pannel effect i made whith help of aluminium, steel and silver colors. Wethering: brown preshading, aquarel paint for pannel lines, oil paint dots and tamiya wethering sets. Some word about prototip: The aircraft from Santa Clara AFB, Cuba, Dec.1962. After oct.4,1962, when "unidentified" MIG-21 tried to intercept pair of f-104 USAF over cubian territory. That mig was from ussr 213 fighter regement adopted Cuban national insignia. After the Cubia missile crisis came to end, the 213 FR was deployed to San Antonio AFB near Havana. 20.08.62 all the mig-21-s was adopted to the Cubian AF. Please wellcome!

Great idea! Very interesting diorama! I just finish my shooting star a couple weeks ago and I steel under Impressiоn of She. And there is a magic liquid "plege future..."(floor polish)... It will make your canopy cristall clear. Congratulations!

Another exellent hunter! Very nice faded camuflage. But you are forgot about gap at the back side of the rocket pod.(if my eyes don'tlies to me:$)

Oh!Respect one more!! If you a real admire of the A-model you should (have to...)to complete all of the A-monsters seria! That an splendid aircrafts (and huges!)!

And i am glad to introduce you another my bird in 1/48 scale! Please welcome! It is one of the oldest mig-29 kit in 1/48. The assembly was long and hard, as a most of Academy kits))))) The assembly took a kilo of putty, sq.meter of foil,a lot of sweat and some drops of tear )))))! Some of pannel lines was added and recreated after sanding. All of the rivets-handmade by the sewing needle (trumpeter riveter is not good for me? as i ws notis in build... In paint work i used AKAH and Revell paint as usual. For wethering i used aquarel paint (for panel lines), tamiya wethering master sets, filters and method of the oil paint dots. When the build was complete this kit was send to the Barnaul (Siberian city).

Great work! Special respect for the victory over the A-model!!!!!!!!!!! In Russia A-model kit calls "Дрова" ("firewood"- only scratch build, like Pinocchcio or in to the fire) )))))))

Hi all! Let me introduce you one of my models. Prieviously, i wanna apologize for my poor english (i hope so far...) So. A kit was built last summer. In scratch build i was use a lot of putty and foil (to imitating a panels) All panel lines was rescribed from outward to inward. Also i added all the rivets. In paint works i used AKAN and Revell acrilic paints. For wethering i used aquarel paint (for panel lines), tamiya wethering master sets, filters and method of the oil paint dots. Cheers!
