Spicing up an older aircraft build...
Kampartiger replied to Brad's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Did you also give the Fresco a fresh paint job (the one in the picture looks great) or simply adding in the Vietnamese pilot and the ladder?I have an Indian Mig-21 Bis which I plan to overhaul into a Hungarian Mig,but repainting it....that's quite a big chore.(Masking can be quite tedious) -
1/144 Airfix Vickers Vanguard
Kampartiger replied to Lupo Rosso's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I never realize how beautiful the Vanguard is.I guess it must be the overall white paint job and the loud graphic work on it.Normally I don't go for 1/144 kits but this time I need to get a Vanguard pronto. -

The cannon armed Hurricanes seems to be very well suited to the tasks given in Burma and along the Indian border, very tough and reliable, hitting the Japanese positions day in day out.Along with the attendance of Thunderbolts,Spits and others in the area I guess the Hurricane played a very important role in pushing the Japanese back to the Siamese border.Honestly I have long been fascinated with SEAC Hurricanes and Tonyot's model brings a sense of awesomeness and deep respect to the plane and the pilots who flew it.

Why is it the canopy sill on the Sabres drawing not straight?I dunt remember it having any curves!

Dear DragonlanceHR, Won a CA Reggiane Re.2001 kit at the Japanese Buyee site a few days ago for USD39.Unsurprisingly the canopies had turned brown. Is it possible for me to purchase one of your canopies?I am living in Malaysia and I will bear the cost of the canopy plus the postage. Will PayPal be ok to you? Thanks.

Hopefully there will be new batches of P-2E Neptune and Lincoln conversions coming in the near future.I missed buying both conversions years ago,so this time I am going to be on my toes for both releases.

Super Nice and superb paintwork! -
Let the Ponies loose from your modelling barn as I am having a great time admiring those beautiful looking Mustangs.Great work!
-
It's just perfect..... ( part no.E20 is not there however) but it's still a great RF5E.

The conversion looks great and so is the finishing ( so that's the elusive Barrack grey!). Would be great if SBS Models can produce the Buchon conversion for the Tamiya kit too...!

A Spitfire PR XI Conversion in 1/48 Scale
Kampartiger replied to Jim Kiker's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I really like the look of your Spitfire Mr.Jim. Looking very harmless without the guns but with the cameras,I guess the devestations it brought unto the enemies are the same too.Would like to emulate your build but alas there's no more Airfix PR.XIXs being sold in my part of the world. -
Great Panhard Aml-90 in Lebanese color. As Bkirwan had mentioned just where did you get the marking? As for the Panhard, hopefully this year someone will produce a conversion for the South African Eland.
