  1. There is an extra canopy frame that shouldn't be there in the very first place, the one right behind the ejection seat!Nice sabre btw.
  2. Bought the reviewed Emily back in the late 1970s but it came in a FROG's box. What made me to buy it was a page from a commando's comic which showed a beached Sunderland firing full blaze on an Emily.wow!what can I say,I was only 9 and of course I didn't know the two seaplanes never met each other in the Pacific.I hope it is still there in the marsh behind my old house in Kota Kinabalu,Sabah,Malaysia. That was 40 years ago and it is still my favourite seaplane.Instead of moulding more f16s,hopefully hasegawa will make a fresh new one.Amen to that.
  3. Beautifully done De Havilland triplets,it' s always fascinating to see these venom and vampires being operated in tropical surrounding rather than the typical european setting.
  4. Turkish delight,excellently done viper.
  5. Something different and such a beautiful build.Hopefully you can tone down the gloss just a little bit.i wouldn't like flying next to it under the bright African sun.Still a superb model.
  6. How i wish airfix would indulge itself more in making new molds of British aircraft especially the venom and meteor families.I would love to have an Aeroclub Sea Venom but it is so rare.I guess the only option i have now is to admire Rizzo's superb Sea Venom.
  7. Bought 2 from hlj after reading yr.review.Hopefully Fujimi will re released the fgr.2 in the near future.splendid spey phantoms!
  8. A superbly finished Alphajet in my favourite portuguese color.what more can be said,it's simply superb from tail to front. The office looked real and though I dislike open canopies, this time I hv to admit it is well represented.congrats....a supremo effort.
  9. Excellent nmf mig21,the best so far that i hv seen.Who would ever thought there would be plastic under the aclad,it's so realistic.By the way, just where in Motherland Russia can we find a ferris wheel on an airbase?
  10. Would be a nice pic if there's a Brewster Buffalo sitting next to it.Contrasting designs, the sleek Hayabusa /peregrine falcon and a portly buffalo.wow!I have a high respect for the Breswter' pilots that fought the Japanese onslaught from the Siam border right up to the last days of Singapore.Brave souls!
  11. Beautiful zero sen.Love the faded Hinomarus too.I guess under the hot Rabaul sky the red meatball eventually changed quite quickly into a shade of orange.Since the airstrip was near to the sea and with two active volcanoes just outside the fence perimeter,i think it would look swell with some streaks of dust.anyway, superb build.
  12. Beautiful, simply beautiful especially in the not often seen camo of the RLAF.I sincerely hope your next Trojan project will be a Filipino AT28D or otherwise known in the Philippines as a 'Tora Tora'.
  13. Agree with Spitfire31,i too thought i was looking at the real deal.everything blended well.superb blinder, keep up with the excellent standard of modelling.
  14. Can't resist from buying this monsterous miniature.can't afford the Amodel kit since is was way too expensive and too big for my 12x10 hobby room.so by hook or by crook i've got to hv one!Probably do the grey one since all that camo will spoil the pleasant appearance of the mighty cock.
  15. The cargo area is so cavernous that i think you can put the fuselage of a DHC caribou (hoping and praying for a new mold in the future) into the bay with ease. Thanks Radleigh for the photos,it somewhat rekindles my memory of the example i saw.The only difference is that I had the opportunity to see it roaring along the runway. The small jets under the wings sure make a hell of a sound!
  16. I think it's high time for Arkady to put away his miniaturizing zapping gun and build models like the rest of us,don't u think so.I guess the auditors will be having problem trying to find the missing XS518!
  17. Finally a buildable C123 by looking at the sprues. Will definitely buy a box or two or more especially if RODEN has plans to release the C123K version.First to be build is a Thai Provider that reminded me of an example i saw at Don Muang back in the 80s'.
  18. Simply stunning!A superb early model fishbed by model experten arkady.bravo!
  19. That's a very colorful and extremely well built meteor.I guess during its operational years it could be seen from miles away and I bet the argie pilots had difficulties in trying to fly around without being notice.Superb model.
  20. Congratulations for being able to finish up the kit, tried my hand on it many moons ago but ended up in failure. So,it;s out there in the shack.Anyway, yours is truly a beauty and the camo is superb for a dragonfly serving in Vietnam. Btw,shouldn't there be a muzzle for the gun?
  21. wow,a very beautiful and extremely well build recce mirage especially in the israeli colors.it's a pity that you did not include side profile photos of the subject, only then can we fully realized how different the recce nose mirage compares to the original IIIc ones.A superb build, one of the best so far!
  22. Superb paint job and i have a lot of respect for modellers like mr.allen whose final product looked as if the model was air brushed.bravo!God given talents which not every modellers are blessed with.Beautiful phantom recce.
  23. A masterpiece as usual by Akardy and yes like Luis,I think I would prefer a Portuguese and a Thai Alphas in my collection.By the way I do honestly think that the nose undercarriage is too tall where by right the whole fuselage should be flat in parallel to the ground.
