  1. Is there really a 'smooth strake' on the front part of the wing between the fuselage and both engines of the Beaufighter?Never seen it before!
  2. Hopefully I will still be around next December so that my hands could run through every sprues of the Shackleton and feel the lovely curves of each parts. Can't figure out how many years I hv been waiting for it to appear but as least it's better late than never.Now....i want to dream about a Lincoln by Airfix!
  3. Super.....hopefully with all the newly added esm boxes!
  4. Lovely Italian machine, the Folgore.Just wish Hasegawa would re released the 1/48 Mc202/205 kits in the near future.Nice one from Jerzy!Congrats.
  5. Modelwise the Rafale is a popular choice among the modellers and manufacturers, but in the real world it doesn't generate much interest except to the Indian Air Force and of course France.Anyway, the design is pleasing to the eyes and yes, your model is exceptionally beautiful too. I can see a lot of hard work have been put into creating such a fine model!Jolly good work!
  6. A new SA330 Puma would be a winner and from there, maybe parts for a Denel Oryx too!I don't expect any Chinese,Korean or Japanese companies to answer the call for a new Puma.
  7. Hopefully there will be liveries for the other users of the Seaking, such as for Qatari and Egyptian air forces:-).Or additional parts for the Indian Navy/Pakistan versions in the form of exocet missles and different esm boxes. It's like the final and best Seaking to end all other Seakings out there.Don't really mind if the price is a bit dearer as I expect the Airfix to do an excellent job with a famous British product!
  8. I sincerely hope that Hobbyboss will include other varients in the box especially the oversize nose one,is it the 'S' version?
  9. Nice skyhawk....but i think you have glued that 'thing' on top of the fuselage facing in the wrong direction!
  10. The Airfix's box art of the SM79 was what motivated me to be a part of the scale modelling community back in 1969 and since then the 'Hunchback' has been my favourite plane.Mr.Claudius's work is simply beautiful and like that flight of Sparrows depicted on the Airfix box, hopefully it will motivates others to join the world of scale models.
  11. Expecting a lot more exotic liveries from Xtradecal which touches on the users from the Mideast, African and South American users .I know some of them have been released by others but would love to have all of them on just one big decal sheet by Xtradecal especially for the recce birds.
  12. The Italeri C27J Spartan has been around for quite sometime but honestly this is the first build of the plane that I hv seen in the net.Love the plane (practically every transport planes) and though the model is too glossy for my liking,it is still an excellent build.
  13. A very attractive Qantas 737 and a superb build despite the few short comings with the Revell kit.Hoping they will release the 900 series too.Better still the whole new generation of 737s but of course I am really asking too much already.
  14. After reading the numerous complaints about Trumpeter's DH Hornet and being pointed out where the mistakes are with the molds,I could see that hphmodels made the same mistake with the front canopy!Hopefully I am wrong!
  15. Wow...that's a very handsome looking Kawasaki product!Never gave it any thought until today and the Japanese aircraft industry before WW2 really managed to create a lot of interesting planes.Anyway,it does look like a Heinkel from a mile away.Fantastic Ki-10....!
  16. Good news, glad to have another spit to join the crowd, but just where are the PRs?
  17. Will be following yr build keenly.Like the Wilga very much but building the Amodel is a difficulty that I wish to avoid.Wishing you all the best my friend!
  18. Planning to do an Indonesian Gannet next year (January 2015) after looking at your neat example.Found some pictures of it too (Focal Plane) on the net when the planes were at Changi (1950s') while on a delivery flight to the customer.Likewise I will stow the flaps too as I really have no idea how it should be fix.By the end of the build however,I hope to have something that resembles the Gannet by Neil.
  19. That's a neat British Sabre.Though in reality the grey/green scheme can be quite boring but with the balanced additions of squadron creast, motifs and colors,RAF examples of the Sabre are very interesting to model......like what you had done to it!
  20. Very neatly done and if you have not mentioned about the minor sugery to the nose,I wouldn't have notice the difference.Overall you have completed one of the more colouful meteor......excellent modelling!
  21. Finally a Fantan on Britmodeller and a nice one too..... eventhought it's painted all white.Trumpeter listed it in their cat . during the early 2000s but nothing came out of it!Hopefully they will revive the project and other than the plain all white chinese plane, they should throw in decals for the colourful Pakistani Fantans.(Are they still flying?)
  22. Thanks Homebee for pointing out the existance of the 1/48 kit but my wallet has taken a lot of beating this year and with just a month's bonus to boast,I have to wait for a cheaper version of the Chaika. Thanks again.
  23. I was expecting a chinese build Super Frelon as they' re the last remaining user of the beast!Well....will dream on for another year or two!
  24. Finally chaikanuts/chaikanatics all over the world can finally rejoice with the latest releace from ICM!Will buy a few as it doesn't take that much shelf's space.Hopefully and prayfully in the not distant future there will be a 48th. version of the russian biplane.
