  6. Thank you very much for the kind replies. I have painted this Tornado with Gunze colors. There are no exact matching color for "desert storm" by Gunze, so I had to do my own mix based on several photos. I also painted the landing gears and bays light grey.
  7. Thanks for the sweet replies gentlemen! As mentioned, the front landing gear are a bit too high for the sake of the load. By the way, it is too bad that Revell didnt throw in more paveways in the box. I read that in most cases FK carried 3 Paveways. The box contained only 2. Im not too good to take photos, here some photos of the cockpit. Enjoy!
  8. Hello all! Here is my interpretation of Foxy Killer. As i think she looked like in Operation Desert Storm. The model is Revell 1/32 with Aires cockpit and aftermarked decals, Canopy detail and FOD is scratched. It was a fun build, no serious fitting problems. The only issue was the damn useless covers for the swepwing function. The are out of the box. I should have scratched build them. The original: Here is my foxy Killer:
  9. One of the best daggers i´ve ever seen. You should be proud of it! good work!
  10. Very nice F-84G. Exellent paint work! Well done!
  11. The picture below is used for reference then i did my paintjob. I seems like the XH898 is about to be scraped at the moment when the photo is taken.
  12. I really like your "flying" photos. It looks very realistic. And your build is awesome!
  13. I have to thank you all for your sweet comments. This just kicks me to do more models soon.! :-)
  14. Yes thats me! I can announce one of my quests: Build the U.S.S Missouri in 1/200. time limit 3 months. Thanks for your warm welcome salut!
  15. Thanks for all kind comments folks! This build took me about a week to finish. The paint job was a bit tricky a start, but did not take so long what i had expected. For clear varnish over decals i used thin layers of microsol- micro clear. I have not decided what to do next. Perhaps a RAF Boeing B-17G. who knows ;-)
  16. Hi all! Im new here at Britmodeller. I like to show you my Gloster Javelin in 1:48 scale from Airfix. My scheme of choice was George H. Beatons Javelin in NMF. The XH898. I have used 5 different kinds of Alclad. I have enhanced the ejectionseats with belts och restrainers. This Airfix kit is far the best Airfix kit i have ever built. The Guys at Horby knows how to mould a great kit.
