  3. welcome to the dark side of weathering rob.... knew you couldnt resist in the end lol how did you do the wiggly lines with a brush btw?
  4. get used to the carpet monster on etch!! i use masking tape to tape it down then cut, others use plastic bags etc but still some of it flys off never to be seen again! for the canopy i would go with what someone said above, ladys 3 way nail buffers, very cheap and work really well...to be honest if they are good enough for their nails way good enough for canopys! and again when done dip in klear oh and pre shading i think more random it is the better so dont worry if you go offline slightly liking this one btw, when ive done what im doing its an A-7d for me
  5. they look superb and a hell of a lot of work!
  6. oh thats a nice fifteen... easily my fav plane, in the middle of japanese DJ currently and that looks a lovely job on it
  7. 1/144? and you do that? blimey
  8. i use all sorts of fillers, squadron white and green, Mr putty etc none of those have melted my model and i use the nail varnish remover method, but you do need the stuff with acetone its more an acetone solution so shouldnt be hot enough to melt your model... the stuff without acetone is useless and wont work
  9. tamiya for me and I do use klear around the edges...just remember to use a very sharp knife around the tape when yr about to take it off!
