If you haven't I would suggest getting in touch with nigel Denchfield from the ipms battleship sig because I know he has already done this model from the airfix kit and he keeps a copy of all his research and build notes from that kind of a project Martyn

find a set of plans and scratchbuild it, by the time you've hacked anything proprietary about enough to make it look right it'll be quicker easier and more accurate
