  1. I actually picked up a Testor's B2 stealth bomber kit a few weeks back (waiting for it to ship from the US) - it really does remind me of the Horten. Dave
  2. And the Dornier-335 was announced too at the same show! Dave
  3. Thank you - this has made my day!!!! Dave
  4. Oh man, this is gonna make me so happy. I only learned about the Horten a few months back, but what an amazing plane and design. Worthy of a Zoukei Mura model imho. And if it's at 1:32 scale whoah, that's even better. Dragon's 1:48 is not a particularly good kit by all accounts (fit wise) and the custom made resin 1:18 kits are all sold out and very expensive and not being produced anymore. Plus, 1:18 would be too large for this lad. 1:32 is a bit big, but I reckon I can find a place to put it! Thanks for the heads up. Did anyone get a chance to get a piccie of it *grins* Dave
  5. I had to google what Telford was in relation too. What was the box artwork like? And does that mean it'll be announced at the show I wonder? Dave
  6. I really hope it'll be 1/32, it deserves to be. Telford? Dave
  7. yeah, that's the dornier 335. It's not boomerang shaped. Zoukei Mura are being very confusing with this latest blog. The pictures point to one plane, the clues refer to another... Dave
  8. me too. Zoukei mura hasn't made any modern stuff yet, it's all been wwii etc (apart from the skyraiders). I just can't see them doing a B2. But, yes, it would be cool I do admit. edit: I'll just add that the latest old man blog says the team is at the Smithsonian doing research on the SWS #8. AFAIK, there's no B2 @ the Smithsonian. There is a HO-229 though ;-) oh and looking at the images of the research team in the latest blog, they're also doing the dornier 335 too it seems (one can easily tell from several of the photos). The dornier isn't boomerang shaped, so this must be the 2nd model kit that they're researching. A cool and worthy inclusion into the SWS kit range imho.
  9. No way. The dornier doesn't look like a boomerang, at least any boomerang that I've ever seen or owned or used (yes, I'm an Aussie and yes I have a tiny bit of aboriginal blood in me too!). The clue from the zoukei-mura old man blog released on the 24/10/2013 is: if that isn't a HO-229, I'm a monkey's uncle!!!! Dave
  10. Do you mean downscale it from 1/32 to 1/48 like their Shinden? I think a 1/32 scale HO-229 would be the perfect size myself, although I can understand that some people would want it smaller. Both would be a great idea! Dave
  11. I thought I'd register and add to this topic...unbeknownst to me, I'd sent a suggestion EMail to Zoukei-Mura about them possibly doing a 1/32 Horten HO-229 due to both its uniqueness etc. Well, I got a lovely reply from Hideyuki San to see his 'old man' blog. Of course, I read the blog and then saw the quiz and voila...I found it interesting that he liked my suggestion a lot, and referred me to the blog, almost like a hint. I'm pretty damn confident that the SWS #8 will be the Horten. And what a wonderful thing this will be. Revell has a 1/72 scale version, there's the old Dragon 1/48 (which was a horrible fit I believe). A Zoukei-Mura 1/32 Horten HO229 would make me absolutely ecstatic. Seriously, want this plane. And, I know Zoukei-Mura will do it *right*. Dave
