  1. I forget to mention Hobby Boss are releasing SMS Seydlitz in 1/350. Combrig do Scharnhorst and Seydlitz in resin with Von Der Tann coming soon, though they would also be nice in plastic.
  2. Great review! I believe Hobby Boss are releasing the entire Danton family, along with HMS Lord Nelson and HMS Agamemnon. I still waiting for HMS Queen Elizabeth or any of her sisters in WWI fit, and any German or Austro-Hungarian Pre-Dreadnought. SMS Nassau would be nice, too.
  3. That's the finest Vickers gun I've seen in plastic! They even have the cable pulleys in the wings! Waiting for that as well! It'll be interesting to see what the the Royal boxing will include.
  4. Superb model and great engine! Well done!
  5. I never knew that! I only knew of Shuttleworth's 504. A WnW 504 is a little overdue, I think.
  6. Superb! Simply fantastic! I have the premium boxing with metal exhausts and resin; I'm really tempted to build it with a BarracudaCast seat after seeing yours, though painted with a totally fantasy paint scheme.
  7. While I'd love to see some more much wanted WW1 aircraft like the HD.1, Avro 504K and perhaps the S.E.5a with Wolsely Viper, the Taube rather excites me. If it sells well, it could mean that WnW could expand into more Edwardian planes.
  8. I would recommend the H&S Ultra as a good starter airbrush, easy to use and maintain, and also cheap. You can also get a set of Vallejo Model Air paints with the Ultra. Help this helps.
  9. I have just seen an image of the prototype model over at the Rumourmonger, the wings are superb! So thin!
  10. Such a beautiful plane being produced by one of the finest model kit manufactures, very exciting! I wonder if WnW will provide photo-etch parts to help with rigging on the wings.
  11. Good afternoon, I present to you my Pz.Kpfw.IV F1 by Dragon in worn winter camouflage. Built OOB except for the antenna, which is stretched sprue.
  12. Amazing! I wonder if they do any other metallics (imagine copper and brass pens, AH a steampunk modeller's dream!) Edit: Just had a look at their website, no other metallic. Not yet, anyway.
  13. Those skis make the Yak look so cute! The resin rockets look attractive as well! Might have to nab one.
  14. Very cute! The oil under the cowling is really convincing!
  15. Very cute! If you didn't say that they are paper models, I would have thought that they're plastic or wood! Great work! I have one of Combrig's torpedo boats in 1/350, and she's tiny!
  16. I build and paint upper hull, lower hull, wheels, tracks, turret and parts that don't have the camouflage colour - such as tools and spare tracks - separately before final assembly to make painting and weathering easier. It's easier to paint the wheels and their tyres before adding them to the hull. Hope this helps.
  17. Very nice! Could easily be mistaken for a larger scale!
  18. Very nice! Nothing wrong with fictitious markings; let's the imagination go wild!
