  1. Very elegant! An unusual colour scheme is always nice to see!
  2. Try using Mr Leveling Thinner from Gunze Sangyo with water. It should slow down the drying time of the paint, enabling easier use. You'll also get a very smooth finish using a soft, flat brush using the same thinner. P.S. Have you considered Humbrol's own acrylic thinner?
  3. Try using C/A. It will fill shallow gaps such as panel lines and pin holes. Plus, it's easy to sand and you can buy it almost anywhere.
  4. Can't wait to see the final result with the wire additions. The best of luck to you.
  5. Alclad airbrush cleaner will eat anything paint-wise. It reeks, but it performs without a hitch.
  6. Why don't you try this method: http://clubhyper.com/reference/aligningandriggingabiplanegp_1.htm It also helps with aligning the wings. Hope it helps.
  7. Excellent work! It's nice to have a modern (and easy to build) 1/72 kit of an early hurricane.
  8. Tamiya acrylic thinner will thin revell paint quite happily for an airbrush. For brushing, plain water works well. Recently, I found that brushing Humbrol acrylics thinned with 1 part water and 1.5 parts Gunze Leveling Thinner can give an almost airbrush-like finish.
  9. Very cute! I might consider building a few Soviet biplanes after seeing this one. Good work! BTW, what paint did you use for the cowling?
  10. Wow! Very pretty! You can't go wrong with alclad!
  11. A very good effort! One of the more obscure Soviet straight wing jets.
  12. Lovely model, especially the staining on the underside!
  13. One of the decal options is going to be depicting the one that was shot down by a Defiant and was recently recovered from the English Channel. I might consider getting it along with a Defiant to make a diorama.
  14. The Swift was the last thing I expected Airfix to tool, being a more obscure RAF plane. The lack of WWI aircraft is a disappointment - perhaps Airfix will start making them through the course of the Centenary.
