Last week, a plane museum near me had a clearance sale from an old model shop. Over three days they sold many, many models, both newer ones and older ones. The prices were insane! They were almost giving them away. I went two times: first when they opened up on day one, and I had to stand in queue even though I was a few minutes early 😀 This pic is from that day. For all these models I paid around 62 euros. Crazy!
I went again on day three because I read on Facebook that there had been a restock. Again, crazy prices with 25% off everything since it was the last day. I bought even more kits for about 60 euros. I didn’t think to take a picture of that pile, but I’ll do it later today. I’m a happy modeller! In total I got 18 kits for 122 euros.
I hope it was not close to where I live and I didn't know about it. Hard to find a better deal.

Tbh I couldn't care less Jeroen 🙂. I shall continue to grow my flock as and when I find a kit that I like. The days of research and sensible buying are over...now the flood gates are well and truly open 😀👍
So Mrs J has finally given up? The only thing that can stop you now is when you run out of storage space? 🙂

Very nice a big improvement compared to the state it was in when you bought it. I have been building this kit on and off for a couple of years.

Another Impala added to the stash.

Bolts look excellent.

Looks great well done. Still waiting to get my hands on this kit seems hard to come by where I live.

Hopefully they will do something about the sink marks. Didn't the E-Type FHC have similar issues early on? I will wait a year or two.

The latest purchases. Realized when the R34 arrived it was the Nismo version I wanted...anyway now I got a reason to buy another kit.
Also got these markers, work much better than the ones I have tried before.

Went to my LHS and found this one. Got a good deal because the box is slightly crushed but everything inside is good.

Beautiful build I hope to own one in scale 1:1 one day.

It's cheap as chips for what you get. I paid $130ish aussie dollars - about 70ish pounds I think. It's a bargain as nobody seems to want this kit. The CB1100R goes for hundreds of dollars same as the CX. Don't know why.
Yeah it is not my favourite bike but I want to build a 1:6 Tamiya bike and as you say it is considerably cheaper than the others I have found.

I have had my eyes on this kit for a while but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I look forward to following your build.

Got a good deal on this one because the engine was slightly started.

Have you checked gravity paints maybe they have something close enough?

Instead of thinning what you are going to use on a palette everytime are there any downsides to putting aqua color mix directly into the paint jar the paint came in from the store? I don't remember how much room there is for thinner in a new jar though.

First and I suspect not last for this year.

I only have a few Hasegawa kits but always thought they were real nicely done apart from always (almost) lacking a proper engine.

Very interesting, if it is a new tool I will buy one as long as the scale is not smaller than 1/32.

Weird.....nah allow me to explain. You will need ; 1 pudding bowl 🥣
4/6 jammy dodgers
1 can of birds custard
Place jammy dodgers in the bottom of the bowl and cover with custard. Microwave for 1 minute remove and stir then Microwave for another minute. Retreat to cave grap your spoon from the stash and tuck in 😋👍
I have a feeling not a single spoon in your cave has paint on it...
