Very nice!

Lovely paint, looks great even without clear.

The body is starting to take shape.
Going to need a bit of putty to fill the gaps. Will be interesting to see if anything fits in the end.
Also started working on the engine, I am thinking about stripping the chrome from the engine parts and the exhaust system, the images I find while googling mostly show no chrome.

Looks good, I like yellow.

Well done, definitely deserved a rescue.
Btw, what paint did you use for the body? Need to buy some of that.

You have done a good job on this one, very nice looking car. One day I will pick up this kit, been looking at it for quite a while.

Saw one of these vans on Wheeler Dealers the other day.
I like your version of it.

Really nice build, makes me want to buy this kit or Revell's in scale 1:24.

As mentioned earlier Humbrol 47 might fit Wedgwood Blue pretty well, or at least as a starting point.

Very nice, you should be pleased with the result.

I am pretty much stuck with the Humbrol/Revell palette, but I guess I can try to mix.

Looks great, good job.
Very interesting colour scheme, I quite like it, sort of bling
What's the primed body shell in the background? Looks to be 1/8?
It looks like this one: http://www.heller.fr/en/maquettes/scale-cars-model-classic/160-citroen-15-cv-1-8-3279510807998.html

Thanks for the replies, I have a better idea how I should paint the engine now.

I have heard this one is a nightmare to build but I feel up for a challenge. I am considering painting the body British Racing Green but if you have some other suggestion I am all ears. Also I would like to ask the experts here what color the engine was when the car came out of the factory? The instructions say I should paint it red but most pictures when I google seem to show a black engine.
Just the body is a real puzzle.

This one has been 99% completed for years and I finally got around to finish it. Not the best kit so the finished car is not without its beauty spots.

A Gunze TR3A came with the mail today. Looks like a decent kit and I like the rubber details. Same thing with the Austin Healey Sprite I have. It is a shame they are curbside though.

Thanks, I figured the decals would be a problem but I can live with it. Would have been nice to have the license plate though. As long as it is easy to find good pictures of the parts that require modifications it should not be a problem either.

I want to build the non-military version of the Triumph 3HW (3H I believe?) and I was wondering if it is possible to use Italeri's 3HW as a base and just not add the military specific parts? or are there parts missing in this kit that are present in the non-military version? The 3HW kit is much easier (and cheaper) to find that is why I was wondering.

Looks like we can forget the 250 SWB again, and any other Ferrari from Revell for that matter.

I've heard this month but I am not betting any money on it. Will buy one as soon as it is out.

We need more british cars, unfortunately Airfix only seems to do 1/32 scaled cars and other manufacturers seem to have forgotten about british cars. I want the F-Type in 1/24 or 1/25.

Looks great, well done!

Arni interesting collection, it will keep you occupied for a while. Never seen the Coyote Super Sportscar before, looks like a cool car.
