Not my favorite Mustang but figured I will never build it unless I do it now for this GB.
Considering what I payed for this I expected a very simple kit but it looks quite detailed and the parts look nice to me not much flash.
The plan is to paint it light blue with black rims.
In order to have a reasonable chance of completing this before the dead line I will not do any customizations.

You should be very pleased with that, looks great.

How about an all convertible GB?

I remember, especially in the early days of me building models, it was always exciting times attaching the wheels to see if all four of them touched the ground. Often it was just three which made me want to throw the model away. Your build looks excellent.

Fujimi makes a nice Daytona but have not found one at a price I like so I settled for the Italeri one instead. Planning on picking up the Coupé at some point too.
I usually don't buy kits with no engine but I could not resist. What do they mean with Clubman?

Nice always wanted one but I am yet to see one with a price tag I like.

I have the road F40 (not pace car) somewhere, if no one here has the exact kit I can scan the instructions if you want.

Not long now. I have a few kits in mind but I will wait to decide until I see what you guys choose (I hope to build one no one else does or as few as possible).

Looks great Andy, by this time I would usually have messed up and put it back in the box...Also my newly painted bodies are fantastic dust magnets. Great to see that you don't have these problems.

I would go with black.

I am happy my untrained eyes don't see all the inaccuracies people point out with kits. Unfortunately that is not the case with Revell's new E-Type though.

This thing needs as much corrective surgery as their '70 Cuda
What is wrong with it? I thought they corrected it.

My finger slipped....again 🙄
I know how easily it can happen. Almost happened to me last night but I managed to stop myself. Bel Air from the 50's look really good.

Some more I bought last month.
Plan on getting one Impala for each year between 58-67 then hopefully display them together one day. But I have a feeling they will stay in the box until my retirement in +30 years...Right now I have 59-60 and 64-66. If anyone knows where to get Revell's 58 at a reasonable price please let me know. Found one on eBay but it is 50 EUR shipped and I am not that desperate yet.

The undersized wheels on the Bronco would bother me more... those definitely need replacing.
I googled and there seems to be a lot of different sized tires used for this vehicle. But I agree definitely looks better with bigger tires.

Unfortunately I learned the buggy and trailer have tires that are plastic like in Airfix kits. Maybe it is possible to find rubber-like tires that fit? But for a static display I guess it doesn't matter that much.

I would suggest either a Tamiya or Revell Mini Cooper for the Sprite engine. If the kit has a 'dummy engine' panel with sump and bottom of gearbox, you could combine that with the A series from the Mini.
Problem is, the price of the Mini Cooper kits 😲
All the best, Steve.
Thank you for the suggestion. Yeah the price is crazy nowadays, I bought the Tamiya Mini Cooper kit on eBay in 2012 for almost nothing (unfortunately I have built it now)...

Wanted the Jaguar but since the shipping fee was the same no matter how many kits I bought I got three more.
Already have the Austin Healey but I've been thinking about making the bonnet open and finding a suitable engine, now I have a spare if I mess it up.

I have the "standard" Mercedes-Benz 500 SL from Fujimi and a lot of the parts are the same in this Koenig version. No real Mercedes fan but I think this one looks really good especially without the roof. Shame there is no engine.

Interesting build. And thanks for the comparison photos.

Missed this one last time it was available and didn't want to make the same mistake again. Now I just need to buy something to attach it to.

Not that I need to buy any more, but is there a run down anywhere on which of the Fujimi Porsches have engines and which are (ick) "curbside"? There are so many versions and prices are all over the place, so it leaves me mightily confused.
Pretty sure all enthusiast kits have an engine. I usually double check with https://www.1999.co.jp/ they show the parts/instructions for a lot of Fujimi kits.

It was the body colour that attracted me to the kit tbh and the fact that I have some zero paints Porsche orange sealed the deal. However definitely not a cream interior this one will be black as I think it will look better 😉 👍. This is going to start my American Muscle Car collection although it may be next year before I can buy any more kits 🙄
I have had an orange one with black interior in the works for years, maybe I will finish it one day.

It's your decision but I think you should make it possible to view the engine. Even if it is not 100% accurate I am willing to bet most people won't know.
