  1. Very nice weathering, but you have a fingerprint in the left side exhaust stain.
  2. I`m looking forward to this one, Mike. I have this kit in my stash alongside the Wingst 1/48 Ki-51 Sonia. Both look like lovely kits sat in the box.
  3. Thanks Fuad. It looks loke I will be adding rivets to my build.
  4. It looks great Fuad. Kudos on the photography too. I have this kit and notice the wing root joint appears to be in a very awkward place. Did you have blueprints to help with the rivet detail or did you use a bit of artistic license?
  5. Very nice. Where did you get the ground equipment from? Trolley accumulator etc. I`m guessing the prop is motorised. It looks so much better than those perspex thingys. I am just about to give static grass a go.
  6. The built version at Telford looked very nice. My only concern is if you don`t want the airbrakes deployed, you are faced with getting the etched parts to fit in to the recessed plastic.
  7. Lovely stuff, Now give those tyres some attention
  8. Very nice. Will it be oils and inks for the exhaust stain on the next project?
  9. I remember being at Decimomannu when we visited the air to ground gunnery range. We were stood on the tower watching our XV Sqn Tornados shooting ground targets when one of these buzzed us. I swear it felt like I could have reached out and touched it. This is a beautiful build that reminds of that moment.
  10. It looks very nice, but two things caught my eye. The red 15 on the port side looks out of register (kit decals?) and the exhausts look too prominent.
  11. Hi Fuad, One thing I forgot to ask you; do you think this kit is worth the money?
  12. Thanks andyh59. That looks workable to me. I have a couple of 215s to tackle as well.
  13. Great Job! How did you modify the tailplane? I have just started a Z2 and don`t want to fork a load of money on the correction which costs almost as much as the kit.
  14. Weathered to perfection. Did you use oils?
  15. Funnily enough, I was due to start my Tamiya Spit, then I read about the Eduard MkI. I will build mine side by side when Eduard release theirs. Great work on the cockpit. I`m looking forward to this build. PS. I have just finished a 20+ years old 1/48 Tamiya MkVb tropical, and that is still a lovely build.
  16. Lovely build and weathering. Did this kit come with resin tail planes as well as the four blade propeller?
  17. I like the look of the MG81Z. What colours did you use?
