Hi all Not being a Russian built helo expert, can anyone tell me if this (or any other of the new kits) can be built as a German Mil Mi-8 please? Thanks very much for any advice. Cheers Shaun -
Thank you Russ

Thanks for your comments everyone. Paul- I simply used chrome paint airbrushed but I think I'll use a chrome marker pen for the next one...I used it for the oleos and it came up very shiny... ExDraken- It was a fairly pain free build except for the wing root/fuselage join. I've got a T5 to do too and next time I think I'll cut of the small locating tabs on the wings and replace them with something longer/more substantial. I broke each wing off at various times, with the port one coming off after everything was painted and decalled!! The fuselage shape is a bugger due to the wider two seat cockpit...

Thanks MC I try to find a photo reference to base the weathering on...stops the urge to go too crazy! Cheers Shaun

Thanks very much Pete It was reasonably straight forward to build, except the wing roots where the locating tabs are too short and you're trying to join a straight wing root to a "coke bottle" shaped fuselage... Cheers Shaun

Thanks very much Rod I would have been happier with ordinance hanging off the wings...Intruders seem to look better loaded up.

Hi all My latest build- a Hobby Boss 1/48 A-6A. It was a fun build, but I gave up trying to stick ordinance on after multiple failures. I'm calling it back from the beach!

Hi Scarlet Thanks very much for that...that's what results from a failing memory and not looking at old instructions. Further mod on the way! Cheers Shaun
