  1. Very nice, ive this one to do myself. I think its a rebox of hasagawa, or so ive been told
  2. Had originally wanted to do a trainer scheme but had problems with paint so had to start over again and go for option on box. Would definitely consider doing another.
  3. my first academy kit, went together ok until it came to putting wings onto main part of plane. decal for tail was well oversized so i painted on the stripes.
  4. Looks great! I've this in my stash but keep avoiding it as I hear it's not the easiest build
  5. Yes 1/72, the aftermarket decals I used where only the swastikas on the tail, so scheme was the one out of airfix kit. I had trouble uploading photos from photobox on my iPad, then took several attempts to get it to work on a friends PC. Will maybe try again with some better photos
  6. Fit of the kit is great, I have the 190 to do next!
  7. Airfix kit, model air paints, kit and xtradecal decals
  8. Dark earth, and Middle stone. I added a little white for the faded look. First time I've used the middle stone, it was a little on the thin side, not sure if I shoulda give it a base coat of something first.
  9. This is my first Tomahawk and also my first desert scheme, OOB painted with Vallejo paints.
  10. I used Vallejo dark earth on my hurricane and in my opinion looks too dark, yours looks a lot lighter tho, looks spot on
  11. Yeah I used humbrol varnish on humbrol paint, it was a rattle can but did hold it way back. I used Vallejo paints on the hurricane I did next and had no problems, so I think I'll stick to them now. Cheers for all your input and pointers.
