    Great to see them done Ced btw, the specialist spits are not rubbish kits at all, 2014 new tools, not a 1/48er myself but have seen the sprues, looks a stunning kit

    get yourself down to the nearest halfords and get a can of their grey primer, xtracrlix are fine if used over it

    a good boxart certainly has helped me into the odd impluse purchase, or sowing the seeds for a future purchase, generally rather not have good boxart, makes throwing the box away harder

    Used Halfords aluminium in the past but trying out humbrol 11 albeit not as HS in the near future to see how it looks

    Number 2 all primed, now do I go for a bob mk1 or a post mk2, not sure I have room on my bob shelf but got plenty of decal options

    my mistake didn't see the date, indeed had changed to QJ, so so far QJ-Z is suggested

    they look superb ced like the look of those lifecolour paints, certianly do look a good match for the DFS, unlike their own special labeled raf dark green.....

      Agree with the comment re Halfords. Their metallic are very good. However, I have also used the Humbrol Silver/Chrome Silver/Matt Aluminium/Aluminium sprays with good results

    Anyone with the academy 1/72 bubbletop mind taking a look at the instructions, specifically the bit that retains to the canopy, my one shows the razorback, is there an additional part aside from the two clear buts?
