  2. Hi, all! It’s my new tank in 1/72 scale and again from plastic kit of company ZVEZDA. The model was made at the beginning of January. A little history T-35 – was the most powerful heavy tank in the world. This five-turreted tank was developed in a specialized design bureau under the leadership of N.V. Barykov in the early 1930s. It was mass-produced at the Kharkov Locomotive Plant from 1933 to 1939. A total of 61 units were produced. At the beginning of the Second World War, there were 48 units. 7 were destroyed by the Germans troops due to weak armor. 6 were under repair. The remaining 35 were moved to the defense of Kyiv and near Moscow. But they never took part in the battles due to various malfunctions. And despite this, it became a certain symbol of the power of the Red Army. He was often depicted on propaganda posters. In addition, his simplified image was used in the creation of the medal "Of Honor" Combat weight - 55 tons. Crew – 9-11 people. The armor of the turrets is 30 mm, the hull/stern is 20 mm. Maximum power of 12-cylinder liquid-cooled carburetor engine M-17 - 580 hp. Speed on the highway is 30 km/h. Cross-country – 12 km/h. Power reserve 150 km. Armament - 76,2 mm KT-28 cannon (96 rounds). 2 cannons of 45 mm 20K (total ammunition 220 rounds) and 10000 rounds of ammunition for six DT machine guns (one anti-aircraft gun for firing at air targets) Small changes - drilled holes in the barrel of the guns and machine guns - added horn between headlights - added ring rings on tank turrets Painting – AKAN enamels (6th series), glossy varnish – FUTURE and matt varnish TAMIYA MIG wash (dark), MIG pigments, tinting – β€œsilver” and β€œmetallic” pencils. Presented the T-35 with standard markings adopted for USSR armored vehicles in the 30s . Have a nice watching!
