Hi, guys!
I want to show you my tractor model that I made a few years ago. It was made by modifying and repainting a finished model from the HACHETTE magazine series.
Historical reference
A narrow-sized crawler tractor for vineyards is designed to perform the entire range of work on cultivating vineyards with row spacing of 1.5 m or more, as well as general-purpose work.
Manufacturer - Kishinev Tractor Plant, serial production began in 1967.
Created on the basis of the MTZ-50 tractor, it differs from it in the design of the turning mechanism, chassis, cabin, linkage mechanism and lining.
The tractor is equipped with a four-stroke, four-cylinder diesel engine D-50 liquid cooling. The engine was started from the driver's seat using an electric starter.
In subsequent years it was produced under license in Bulgaria.
My changes
- fixed hood and front appearance
- external headlights are taken out and installed on brackets
- the correct exhaust pipe is installed
- the correct windshield wiper is manufactured
- plastic tracks replaced with metal ones
Painting – TAMIYA enamels, glossy varnish – FUTURE and matt varnish TAMIYA
MIG wash (dark), MIG pigments, tinting – “metallic” pencils.
Presented the T-54V production (KTZ) Moldavian SSR, USSR, 1970.
Enjoy watching!

Nice result, Fuad! But only to cool the gun GSH-30-1 the color should be lighter - stainless steel

Amazing work, Dima! As always, very detailed and scrupulous.

Saying is that really 1/72 is almost clichéd until you see this! It really does look like a 1/35 scale model!
Just brilliant work!
Thank so much, my friend!

That is a superb model, especially when you realise that it's 1/72nd. The painting and weathering are first class. Great work.
John.
Thanks John for rating my work.

That's beautiful! If my 1/35 Zvezda T-35 ends up looking like that, I'll be very happy. 😎👍
