This is a little tricky as I have the feeling that there are a few companies around the world that are preparing sets. I will say the following, I need to try and keep to production schedule so I need to complete the Jindivik, and the SC9 sets first.

Then move on to the other Canberra sets, there is a clear nose for the early PR9's coming, not to far off. Clear fish bowl canopy for the B2/B6, along with corrected nose glazing. After that there are at least 4-6 other conversions planned for the B2/B6 type airframes, which I am sure there will be others from other companies as well, so if I get caught lagging behind others may be ready before mine, that then may sway which ones I release, so I best just get cracking.

Thanks for asking. Firstly a little apology due to being a little behind the adverts, a few bigger issues have been happening in my life over the last few weeks. I am back on track now but am still a little behind with a few projects.

The RN Hawk decal sheet is available and I will upload these to the website tomorrow, as you heard these were released at Perth, so a few liucky customers have ther copies already. These decals are very limited and only a 125 have been produced in each scale ie 1/72 and 1/48 scale.

As far as the SC9 conversion is concerned these sets will be released in the next 2-3 weeks, the 1/48 (Airfix) will probably be first and then 1/72, firstly for the Xtrakit and then as soon as I can get a new Airfix kit I will check for fitment against that kit, so I can ensure a good fit.

While on a mini update coming soon also with a few weeks will be a 1/48 Jindivik, will also upload images onto my website soon. This is a very comprehensive kit, with lots of detail and many variable options of parts and decal options.

Following in June and through the summer months will be resin sets for the 1/48 Canberra's and more sets for 1/72 scale Meteor's these will include Mk 15's and then Mk16's and Mk21's. The Meteor sets will be comprehensive sets including conversion parts and decals.

Dave that one did slip by for the instructions, strange it has been on the 1/48 scale sheet since November and no comments until now, but I have a feeling that it may have been aluminium at one stage and then MSG later on, but that is not 100% confirmed. I will add a small addendum note to further decal sets sold that the modeller may need to choose, fortunately it does not effect the actual decal sheet.

[1/72 Gannet]

The story is as such on Gannet wingfolds.

CMR did the original design for their own kit a few years ago.

Then the Trumpeter kit was released and I modified the stub wings to fit the Trumpeter kit and CMR provided me with all their additional parts, and did all the casting.

I then did the same for the Revell kit and modifoed basically the entire wing all three sections and all the detail and casting is done by CMR. The Latest one is overll the most accurate and is designed to fit the kit as is the Trumpeter one for that kit. As each kit has a differnt interface to the fuselage each one is set needs to be different.

I will have to increase the price within the next week to 10 days on the wing sets as the last production run is almost finished and the next order that is due anytime now has seen an increase in price from CMR and the pound/euro situation is not helping. I expect the new price to be about £17.95, up from £14.95, not ideal but still about £2.00 cheaper than the CMR sets retail price.

In a word YES.

To explain a little more, the same decal sheet as the 1/48 scale is being produced in 1/72 and is due to go to be printed in March. BUT there are also 4 MK 14 decal options that have been added to the decal sheet, so there will be a very comprehensive decal sheet available soon for Mk 12's, 14's and the special nose sections. I will the do the 'pointed' nose and the 'pimple' nose for the Hybrids in 1/72 as the kit in 1/72 covers the std Mk 12 nose, ie Matchbox, Revell, Xtrakit.

However I also hope to add further Meteor variants as well in the next 6 months as well.

Also quite a lot of other goodies in the pipline, so keep a watch on my website, I will also post here when the new bits are available.

[1/72 Gannet]

Hi Alistair,

Quick question about the conversion sets available for the 1/72 Revell Gannet, I see there is a replacement wing fold set for the Revell kit, but will the Gannet Weapons Bay and Weapons set for the Trumpeter kit also fit the Revell Gannet?

Also, do you know of any cokpit detail sets/etch parts coming out for the Revell kit?

The weapons bay may fit with a bit of juggling, but the bay in the Revell kit is quite good, the weapons will fit and you may just need to make one or two small mods to install the weapons especially the location there of, I can supply a little extra information if you buy the weapons set. So If I were you just buy the wings and the weapons and use the kit weapons bay.

I am not aware of any detail sets for the cockpit as yet, but I am sure that some of the etch and the resin sets that Pavla have done, not sure off hand if they are available, will also fit with minor adjusting.

[MPM Replacement parts]

Hi Oz

The shop or trader that sold you the kit should source the spare part for you. As it is MPM kit you could email MPM if it is in the Eduard box, email Eduard. It can take some time going through all the channels, but any kit purchased through A2Zee Models I always try and get broken and missing parts for my customers, 95-99% I get them , so if I were you try the shop first. If all else fails I will try and help but as I say it may take a few weeks.

Were you the lady on the A2zee stall at SMW ? Anyway I tried my best to get you to sell me your last Nimrod intake set but you wouldn't have it ! Could you please let us know when you have completed your next production run of intakes so that those who would like some can order them please. Thanks again for producing them they will obviously save a lot of work. How about producing some strong white metal U/C legs for the Nimrod to support all those resin bits, especially for those of us doing the Cammet AEW Conversion, I dread to think what it is going to weigh.
