  1. Similar but subtle changes to allow for smooth cowlings and small bulges over cylinders, and both types can be fitted to either Revell or Tamiya 1/48 scale Beaufighter kits. a few general pictures and one link to all the latest sets https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/category/latest-releases-december-2022-january-and-february-2023
  2. Mark thank you for the kind words, glad you like all the sets supplied, slowly I do hope to add more for the Phantom and the Lightning. As far as shipping goes, well that is a total lottery at the moment, but glad your shipment worked out well.
  3. Thanks for the support guys, I will see what comes with the new offering and then see what kits can be modified and or upgraded to accommodate the new release.
  4. I received mine today, did not rush my order as I was away for a week over the holiday season, was really pleased with it till I saw, one side of the rudder and both the flaps had severe signs of being short shot. I have not seen others comment as yet, but perhaps check your kits. I have sent pictures and message to Revell, so will see what progress gets made on sending me some new parts.
  5. It is confirmed, ask me I know, there will be a new tool 1/24 Hurricane
  6. Sounds interesting, any specific information would be good, I have sent you a PM
  7. I think most of the parts will be PE parts, well to make it up to 400 parts, it could be ok, but personally I am not crazy about PE parts to try and make complex features, by bending an forming it. Would love those two statements to come true, BUT it is never going happen.
  8. Like everything if I did what everybody wanted I would be a MILLIONAIRE, in the wrong direction…… spend hours developing sets that I sell to possibly the one that asks and one other…..
  9. Not sure all what that involves BUT the way that ICM get the most out of releasing multi boxed versions, it may just happen. Just look at the variations on the 1/48 Invader.
  10. I agree I am just rather perplexed on the pricing of this model, either way it is up to Revell to determine that, but I’m perspective the new Hurricane, that in all intense and purposes looks to be a great model (still to get mine) retails at approximately £45.00, and the fairly new F-18 kits at approximately £90.00. the F-18 is a large kit so with these two kits in mind I am very curious to see how the Meteor is presented. I am really hoping it is a kit FULL of a great Meteor (more than likely a Mk. III) parts and not all sorts of other bits and bobs…… we shall see.
  11. Hi guys seamless intakes designed by myself with the engine front / compressor detail parts designed Mark Maclean. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/avro-vulcan-201-seamless-intakes-and-details-for-the-airfix-kit https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/avro-vulcan-301-seamless-intakes-and-details-for-the-airfix-kit
  12. Hi guys A great new set designed by Kerry Carlyle that is now available as a 3D printed set. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/bristol-beaufighter-replacement-cowlings-and-engines-for-the-revell-kits
  13. Hi Guys Many of you will remember in October 2021 I released a limited set of parts for detailing the F-4 K/M Phantom. These were designed by Kerry Carlyle and are being used by Anthony Galbraith (as can be seen on Britmodeller and LSP) on his major conversion of a Tamiya J into a British Phantom. Due to numerous requests Kerry and I have decided to re-release this set and it is now available on my website, a further small set is also now available that helps detail some missing items in the cockpit and the ‘heat fuses’ in the exhaust area. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/mcdonnell-douglas-f-4-k-m-phantom-intake-and-exhaust-parts-for-converting-tamiya-j-kit https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/mcdonnell-douglas-f-4-k-m-additional-small-parts-for-tamiya-j-kit
  14. At this stage we do not know that this is not the regular edition, unless I have missed something. in the past like the Spitfire etc, they released the kit first and then only the Technik version, and even the Technik Spitfire is at £170.00 so I cannot see this being an all bells and whistle release. we shall see…..
  15. Thank you for the information Erwin, let us know if you find out more information. From what you are saying price wise etc. it would indicate a new kit, well we will have to wait and see.
  16. Surely the source can and does specify what Mark it will be, from what you have said it is on a price list and a potential release date?
  17. The canopies in the kits, well many of them have a blemish on the port side of the openable canopy section on both the early and late canopies. So with that I have produced some replacements for those modellers that would like them. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/replacement-canopy-for-gloster-meteor-f-8-early-style-for-current-airfix-kit https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/replacement-canopy-for-gloster-meteor-f-8-late-style-for-current-airfix-kit
  18. Hi Guys Here is the latest releases, see the pictures and the links below. Original kit canopies supplied by Tony Thornborough for the Trumpeter set and Phil Fisk for the Tamiya set. https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/grumman-f-14-tomcat-replacement-canopy-for-the-trumpeter-kit https://aerocraftmodels.bigcartel.com/product/grumman-f-14-tomcat-replacement-canopy-for-the-tamiya-kit
  19. It looks like that both the 1/32 scale kits the F3 and the F2a/ F6 are re-released in 1/32 scale in China as checking eBay a few shops have both options available at between £105 and £120.00.
  20. Could you post up some pictures of the parts, including the clear parts, it would be really good to see what is in the box and what the kit comprises of.
  21. Pleased with this, looking forward to pricing, and to seeing it in the flesh finished quality, but with the subjects chosen, if done well and at acceptable / reasonable value prices then they should be very popular.
