  8. I wondered for a while now how long it would take for photobucket to pull something like this in all honesty. Years ago it used to be £2.99pm for Unlimited Bandwith/Storage, that then changed to £29.99pm now its up to the price they are expecting people to pay now. The day they changed it to £29.99 I remember recieving an e-mail saying that the payment had been declined, and only after raising it with a customer service agent did I get a e-mail saying it had gone up by £27.00, needless to say I cancelled the subscription straight away as they had to give 30 days notice minumum at the time before increasing. I think its time to pull everything from photobucket now and finally say goodbye to them!
  9. Today on the run into work: Lotus Carlton H Reg Dutton Phaeton Darrian T90 (road test) Gilera CX125 Suzuki RG125 Gamma Ducati 748.
  10. Fantastic build this is one I could be looking at doing myself in the future, although I have a feeling I'd have to scratch build a Hyper-charger for one of the builds though! Will see if I can get a walk around set of photo's done at some point, as I know two good friends have these with various modifications etc!
  11. Excellent build, currently have this one on the bench at the moment so good to see how it builds up!
  12. Jens, There's a couple over on Evilbay at the moment: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-Ducati-900ss-Unmade-Model-/311815386220?hash=item4899a5346c:g:~GEAAOSwB-1Yup9g http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Tamiya-Ducati-900ss-1-12-/222430349893?hash=item33c9e1ca45:g:JdYAAOSwr~lYsYaH Cracking finish on the kit too.
  13. To connect the airbrush to the can via the hose you have, you would need something like this: https://airbrushes.com/product_info.php?products_id=1262 That screws on to the top of the Propellant can's to enable you to spray that way. The HS08 is a very cheap compressor, which is ideal to start off with spraying properly. I have had mine for nearly 2 years now and it still works as good as the day I purchased it (with airbrush) from Amazon.
  14. Hello, First foray as such into this area, I've had an idea for the past month or so formulating about creating a scaled down version of the Lexmoto Arizona 125 I have, with that in mind I have the bike at home so I could quite easily get all the measurements of the parts. Few questions though which I hope don't sound like they are coming from a complete newbie in this area. 1. How would I go about making the frame? 2. How would I go about making the suspension? 3. How would I go about making the tyre's and wheels? Engine wise, I know there are a few kits out there which are of a similar design, although they are for the higher "cc" bikes, I was looking at them and thiking with a slight bit of modifications that they could become the basis for the same engine as the one I have. The scale I would be looking at building it in is 1:4, and if the measurements I have are correct then it should work out like this: 1:4 scale Length: 205 cm long, 51.25 cm scale 1:4 Scale Width: 77 cm Wide, 19.25cm scale 1:4 scale height: 105.5 cm High, 26.37 cm scale 1:4 scale wheelbase: 137.5 cm real life, 34.37 cm real life. This could be pie in the sky at the moment as I have a few kits I need to finish, but I'm thinking about a long term plan of building this up, and possibly having some electrics on it working. Many thanks in advance John
  15. Was it by any chance by lcaerodesign or Airshow Models? http://lcaerodesign.com/ocart/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=53 http://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=1384
  16. Hello Jean, So far the kit has thrown up no problems at all which is highly unusual for one of my builds. The fitment between the wings & fuselage is almost perfect although the interior/wings fueselage is all I've been able to really get on with at this moment in time as you can see by the update below: IMG_8631 by John Rooney, on Flickr IMG_8632 by John Rooney, on Flickr IMG_8633 by John Rooney, on Flickr (reason for the slowish build) https://flic.kr/p/NyDAQ7 John
  17. Hi, From the looks of things the kit is the same one I have albeit with different markings. I was thinking that about the instrument panel decal originally but its a clear decal which if when looked at the decal sheet was number 36 (or a similar number on your instructions)
  18. Hi, Lets see if I can get a build finished this year. Here we have the Tamiya P-51D Mustang "Korean War" boxing, as you can see from the photo's below, I've started the kit ever so slightly by brushing Vallejo Steel over the wings/fuselage for the time being. I'm hoping that when I eventually come to spray the kit with Vallejo Aluminium you will be able to see the subtle differences in Colour tone. The kit is going to be finished as 474941 Buckeye Blitz flown by Capt. J.W. Rogers. 19. Very Very tempted with this one. Have two mustangs that I know of in the stash, one is the Academy P-51D which just has the wing built up, and the other is the Tamitaleri (tamiya/italeri) P-51D "Korean War" version. Can probably get away with using the decals from the Tamiya kits on the Academy one though so should be interesting.
  20. This may be the proverbial KUTA that I need to finish quite a few of the kits I have started: Trumpeter Wellington* Revell 1/32 mosquito Zvezda Blackjack Should be all go from this weekend though, and apart from having a small op which will put my left wrist out of action for 2 weeks I'll be aiming to get at least two finished! *comission build.
  21. Cracking build, saw one of these in the flesh yesterday at J&S in Oakmere.
