I was heading out to get some paint sprayed to check the join when there was a knock at the door and three brass monkeys asked me if I knew of any brazing emporiums that might be open today.
I'll leave the paint until tomorrow.
Yep, that wind has got a chill to it, even down south mate.
Once you get the lie detector on i.e. primer it will show any faults as always.
Try and keep warm mate.

The gap doesn't look that big. Some PPP if you have it wiped back with a damp cotton bud will fill that nicely and just look like a panel line.
Cheers,
Alistair
Hopefully LOL.

The IP is spectacular but that step is going to require a little work.
Although I have no doubt it will just be a little extra until you get it sorted.
Cheers,
Alistair
Sadly Alistair the amount of plastic I removed/ sanded away sorting the seam out has come back t haunt me but.. we will see.
Thanks @elger
Well, I took the plunge and glued the wings on.
My camera died so phone pics for now. (Camera battery charging)
I left the inner trailing edge un glued after reading a write up on this kit, and does make for easier alignment.
Leave that to dry now, and see what filling needs to be done.
Stay safe.

Hi folks, and a very happy New Year to you all.
Thanks @giemme, @elger, @corsaircorp, @Hamden, @cobraleader and @AliGauld.
OK, time for an update.
Gunsight finished, as well as the IP + coaming, ready to fit.
Started to make some templates for the Main U/C bays.
I will transfer them to card later.
A word of warning to anyone building this kit, make sure that this area is cleaned as it fits into the cockpit floor.
I am sorry that this one is blurred but it shows the problem I have with fitting the wings.
When sanding the fuselage nose area I removed to much plastic.
Hence the lip, damn...
When squeezed together there is still the gap, but removing anymore plastic is a no no, as the wings abut the cockpit floor and won`t go any tighter.
Well, off for a cuppa now.
Stay safe.

Thanks @giemme, @Dr. Quack, @Hamden, @elger, @cobraleader.
Thanks lads, it took just few minutes with a file.
I wiped some TET around the joins, also along the cracked seam then taped.
I am going to leave that to set before trying anything else foolish.
You all stay safe.

Yes lads, but see below.
Thanks @Biggles87, @elger, @Hamden, @Dr. Quack, @franky boy, And @mark.au.
Right, yesterday I decided to dry fit some of the external parts.
The intake lip on the underside went well, after a bit of cleaning up.
Next up this bit.
This is where the fun starts.
It should of been fitted while gluing the two halves together.
The arrow left to where it is suppose to go, the other arrow points to the seam, join line which has cracked open.
And this bit fits on top of it.
So, now for some serious deliberations on how to fix it.
Well you all keep warm
Stay safe.
