Nice work Martin , nice work.
This was one of the first kits I built when I got back into the hobby, and I totally agree with you on the detail bit.
And leaving the cockpit loose is not a bad idea when showing off the interior.
You cannot see much through the door on the side.

Done good there Stix.

I thought they were considering something similar when they started their RLM paints and so on, but it hasn't amounted to much yet.....To date I've not so much as seen any of the new colours and am relying primarily on Tamiya.
Yes mate, it is a shame, I use Tamiya Acrylics at the moment but their range is limited.

They are cracking paints.....I generally prefer to use acrylics these days, but I do have these, for special purposes:
These belonged to DavidM, a good friend from the ATF, sadly no longer with us, were passed to me by his partner Joyce.....As you can imagine I treasure them and use them very sparingly!
They take me back......
Rack upon rack of Humbrol Paints.
Maybe they may bring them all back.

How old is that Humbrol Authentic can Nigel.
Old enough to have its ode no in Roman Numerals?
Looking seriously good Nigel.
