  1. Looking good Giemme, the exhausts weathering looks subtle. Simon.
  2. Shssssssssssss, I will say this only once........... Looking very interesting Gremlin. As for "Allo , Allo. What a series, had me in fits of laughter, even now. Simon.
  3. Looking good Imster. It is always nice once the back end is fitted, and when the forks are on. Simon.
  4. Nice work Giemme. Looking forward to your next posting. Simon.
  5. Stunning work Foxy, I live all but 2 miles from this ship, yet have not seen it lose up for nearly 40 odd years. Watching this build I can see all the bits that I didn`t notice when I saw her. Simon.
  6. Or the candle with the handle on the gateau from the chateau.... Simon.
  7. The life raft sounds a great idea Gremlin. It will added interest to the build. You could always add a rolled painting of "The fallen Madonna, with the big boobies" by Van Klump. Some serious work going on mate. Like it lots. Simon.
  8. Nice going Ced, the Airfix "new" tooling, has made `cleaning up the locating surfaces more essential nowadays. Simon.
  9. "Life, don`t talk to me about life" Here I am, the brain, the size of a planet, and what am I doing. Parking cars....... The Lyzzie is looking great Stew. Simon.
  10. Nice work Ced, I would need a slight miracle to form some thing that small at the moment. Simon.
  11. Nice, Giemme, won`t be long until RFI? Simon.
  12. A very nice build and finish sir. Some nice pics to. Simon.
  13. Carefully Nigel. After seeing the pics that Canuck63 posted I made a cock up. The air scoops are carbon fibre colour not bodywork so, I wasted my time there. Also , I will have to go against convention, and spray light over dark. There are some over parts on the moulded body work that need to be painted semi gloss black. And it would be easier to paint those first , then mask and spray the body work after. After previous muck up`s with trying to get a good finish, I am leaving nothing to chance. Simon.
  14. Or Linklyfe . The chain looks great, more patience than I Imster. Simon.
  15. Nice work Imster, some fine detail being added there. Simon.
  16. Well time for an update. Well not a lot really, work this weekend and next means time is short. And with the heat wave LOL, put spraying out the window. So, a little bit of prep work. The bodywork was given a visual several times, and any cleaning done. The air scoops were painted and decalled and varnished before fitting. And this head on shot. All three had the chassis dry fitted . And not a bad fit either. And a couple more of the tub. Make the most of it, because once fitted you will see naff all. The dash is only temp fixed, but the door panels and rear bulkhead are. I hope to post some more soon, sooish. As usual, all comments welcome. Simon.
  17. That is looking quite sexy, I may have to have a lie down.... Simon.
  18. Nice work Stew, and nice sharp thinking on getting pieces lined up. And save time too. Simon.
  19. Totally mad Ced, joking mate. She is coming along quite well . The panel looks OK, what we see of it later who knows? Simon.
  20. Nice work Stew, just seen this thread and liking it. Simon.
