  1. Whoever is following closely anything related to Eduard, from Czech modelling formus to Eduard Info can more or less relate to mentioned sentiments regarding Eduard way of communicating and especially ridiculing anyone who mentions omissions in their kits, and Bf 109 family from E to G being prime example. Why is it so complicated for Eduard to get it right with 109 is beyond me, they have Emil and two Gustavs app.300Km. from Obrnice, and could have easily inspected them, as they did. Where did it go wrong twice for Emil, twice for Gustav....
  2. Tens of thousands of Euros are in question, from personal experience know how devastatingly plagiarism can affect business, as far as Emil goes, two omissions from Eduard kit are present on SH kit, looking from pics slats, while not so deep as on Eduard kit, still appear too deep, other thing that strikes me from built model is another Eduard omission, lading gear strut being too long, but all mentioned can be issue of photography.
  3. "Biggles & Co." is new tooled Sopwith Camel Final chapter in trilogy will be Dual Combo Mk.I/ V " The Sweeps "
  4. I truely don't understand, without wishing to sound condescending, why anyone is surprised by AZ/KP " quality" , let alone why anyone would buy their SF-260 considering Special Hobby one. AZ quality dropped in 2009, ever since these are true short runs of not so good form , only their HQT kits are finer, but have host of accuracy issues, not to mention decals...
  5. After waiting 3 years ( since initial announcement ) for gunship H-21, Italeri did not include Matra 122 launchers nor external fuel tanks, both of these were tooled in 1/72 kit, utter disappointment, nice decal options, but truly sloppy execution.
  6. Neo is upgrade of their A320
  7. Whatever they release will be well received due to quality/price ratio, but without skimping on detail in 1/48 as of 2020 ( Mi-24 and Su-57 ), detailed and affordable was key to Zvezda success, hope they will return to level of detail found on Pe-2 and before. With in house tooling development and thus far lower costs, cannot understand why we still don't have Su-25, Ka-52 and Mi-28, not to mention Mi-8/17 family, Hercules showing that big does sell if properly priced, would not mind to see more classic jets B707, B727, Caravelle, Comet etc...
  8. Kinetic, one cannot turn Gen.1 Hawk into essentially its third iteration, T.2 is totally new plane.
  9. Another chapter in SH vs AZ/KP wars, more than happy to see new and fully accurate Emil, just one thing, slats as portrayed on CAD images are same as on Eduard 1/32 and 1/48 scale kits- 30 percent too deep, hope they did not pantograph other Eduard omissions.
  10. Likewise, but unfortunately superlative Rafale tooling was done by ACE of S.Korea in partial CAD, can it be after 23 years useful as basis for updated Rafale kit don't know, have serious doubts. New tooled Rafale in 72nd scale would be no brainer for any company.
  11. Its Dragon's / Cyber Hobby kit.
  12. Decade ago or even earlier than that, when Revell produced kits with excellent quality/price ratio would say great, but after Hobbico brand degradation + GWH and Academy new tools makes truely no sense, but unfortunately sense is what company lacks for years now.
  13. Thank you Revell for not re-issuing Ju 290, Breguet Atlantic, Fw 200, Arado 196, Sabre Dog, Ju G38, Piper Supercub, Alouette II, Sea King, Helldiver etc... when company is led by new age management...
  14. Now I am very grumpy today, but is it really necessary ( as dozens of times lately ) to revive older new kits announcent topics without any new news, anything that would point to release of announced kit, there are few active forum members that scan-cover all the news outlets from websites to social media, and will post usually within an hour after any novelty / news appears. How many forum members will open this topic to find nothing new, either we have news or we don't...
  15. My first impressions are simply full of praise, and to an extent shows that excessive overpricing of kits in the last decade is not the way foreward. Of 50 kits my shop received all were sold out in half a day, maybe due to first new Herc kit in 30 years, but in my opinion fair pricing being the biggest factor. Congrats to Zvezda, and hope for many new variants.
  16. December releases: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2020-12en.pdf 11146 SPITFIRE STORY:TALLY HO! 1/48 Limited edition 7097 Z-37A Čmelák 1/72 Profi PACK 82169 Bf 109G-6/AS 1/48 Weekend edition
  17. You are right I does have longer fuselage.
  18. Rant...,lets be frank, most of the companies " consult " kits from other manufacturers when tooling their own, some do it as too see what can be improved, some blatantly copy. As for Hornet, take it as my highly subjective-non objective opinion, full of all disclaimers possible, take recent P-36, Cr.32 and D.500, in my highly subjective opinion P-36 is Monogram, Cr.32 Supermodel,D.500 Heller copy, with improvements mostly down to scribed detail, analogy wise Hornet? Now personally don't have anything against copying if it results in better product, aside from improvements in and around canopy, cannot see any other area where "new" AZ kits batters old SH kit, as I said before AZ/KP does produce kits in " high quality tech.", why Hornet did not deserve to be produced in better short run tech don't know, step down quality wise from "HQT" they produced DH Comet, Hornet is nowhere near that level of quality. I love and buy AZ/KP mostly as an idea, new boxarts and subjects are very nice, but when you look closely one finds (aside from Kora) lowest end of Cz. spectrum of short runs, very Poor fit ( aside from HQT ), highly imaginative decal options, but I also do remember initial kits like Fokker C.X, Breda 65 etc...that were produced to much higher standard.
  19. Was it my imagination or did Eduard mention Pilot Replicas J-29F as their future Limited Edition boxing?
  20. Sorry Martin, but having the kit in my hand cannot see how its better than MB5, its the same " quality", as for dihedral you'll find same problem with AZ kit as well, but yes its more accurate regarding canopy issue.
  21. Three PR.2 arrived , and yes its pure AZ limited run, so lowest quality of Czech limited runs (Kora excluded ), would like to ask why It could not have been tooled as their DH Comet ,this will be easily surpassed by anyone deciding to tackle the subject, aside from canopy issue, cannot see how this surpasses SH.
  22. V.Sulc( Eduard) annouced few years ago P-36 family, as for Ukranian, both ICM and Wingsy/Clearprop would be more than fine, AMG/Dora would shy away.
