Hi all, I seem to remember reading somewhere that when landing a spitfire, pilots would often pull the canopy back and open the access door slightly to prevent the hood from sliding shut in the event of an accident. Presumably to avoid being trapped in the cockpit. Can anyone confirm this please? I would like to build an example and depict it coming into land and thought this detail might be a nice touch. I believe they would be overall dark yellow. As for camouflage, this can be almost any combination you like I think as long as it is the dark green and red brown. One of the joys of modelling german armour / transport from this period is the vast array of camo patterns that are seen on almost any vehicle. I can't help with the seat cushions I'm afraid. Hi All, I'm just about to take receipt of the Trumpeter 1/35 German Panzerloc BR57 Armoured Locomotive. Does anyone have any experience of this build please? It looks quite straight forward from what I've gleaned from various reviews but any extra help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave
