  1. Hi Paul, are these decals available? I was hoping to use them for a 1/72 BV-107 (CH-46) thanks and regards Aaron
  2. Thank you very much! It certainly is a tricky kit and requires some perseverance and no bother at all, please feel free to post pictures of your kit. When I first started building the kit, your's was the only built kit I could find. Its absolutely splendid and was a big inspiration to build mine so thank you for sharing. I have since seen another two completed kits; One in Bristows livery which has been displayed at model shows as part of the Scottish aviation SIG and another was a photo of another BA aircraft (IIRC) that was taken by a member of my local modelling club at one of the Scottish modelling shows; can't recall which one but i think it was on the competition table. Such a beautiful aircraft, I've been inside one during a SAR upgrade fit but never flew in one. As for Diorama, I did find a photo of a BEA S-61N with ah volkswagen T-2 bus alongside; I have contemplated trying to recreate a similar scene - nothing as inspiring as yours though! thanks Aaron
  3. Thanks Craig, Yeah, I've been absent from forums for a while. However, I've still been fettling away in the modelling room though . How are you getting on?

This was started as a part of a group build in 2015 but it has sat on the shelf of doom collecting dust. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234975281-s-61n-cn-61143-g-ayom-bea-helicopters-172/ Finally finished it late last year. 17. Welcome Joss, that cockpit looks rather nice! I'm sure the loss of the decal placement shouldn't cause too much of an issue. Have you tried searching online though? Some instructions sheets find their way online and you could be in luck? cheers Aaron
  18. Blood on plastic, that's some dedication to the hobby! great choice Ray, I like the personal touch. Cheers Aaron
  19. thank you chaps, Yes Craig, I surprised myself to be honest. The Sycamore was high on my list and was my first choice back when the GB was suggested but I've recently completed the S&M kit and as much as I liked building the kit, I was concerned I'd loose my mojo having built it already. I was also considering a H-21 / V-44B after purchasing a conversion set from DF-Helo stuff. Another on the list was the flettner 282 (still an additional contender if the zero is finished quickly). cheers Aaron
  20. welcome to the GB Rob, three kits!!?? good luck; the comparison build(s) are very much welcome.
  21. Great choice Craig, I'm sure I've told you I'm a fan of winter camo too and you'll certainly do it justice. Thanks to V-P for providing info for you, wonderful to see how helpful this forum is. Good luck with the build, I just hope you... 'Finnish' in time.......

  23. Hello, I had a few options for this Group build but decided to go for a plane rather than helicopter. Kit: Tamiya 1/72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Model 22 Zero fighter. obligatory sprue shot After market bits include Eduard PE & canopy mask, CMK tail cone resin set and Rising Decal "zero part IV" I'll be attempting this bright yellow one. require some additional paints though, which I shall order soon. thanks for looking and hope you all have fun!
  24. Thanks @Black Knight @Joss as black knight has stated, less than 25% so your choice is more than welcome 😃
