  1. Funny thing is, after pulling the decals out of mine, I started working on mine too... Don't tell anyone either.
  2. What happened, did the Mirage meet a solid object at speed? Have pulled otu some decals, will be inbound your position by end of this week.
  3. Royal Class Mirage comes with decals from ALL other Eduard Mirage III boxings. If you have a look here Royal Class Mirage PDF instructions, then open page 19 (blue-grey over silver), page 20 (desert scheme 1) and page 24 (desert scheme 2) and let me know. Probably pay to save the one you like too then I don't have to mail instructions... All the other paint schemes are IAF, SAAF or Natural Metal AdLA.
  4. He does know what to do with a model! Unbelievable. Looking good Mike. Let me know if you want those Royal Class French decals. Won't be using mine. Have a set of Isra decals to use instead. You are welcome to them.
  5. Aires 1/72 AV-8B pit is out and is gorgeous, with exactly the same level of detail as the 1/48 kit (I bought a pair to put into my 1/72 TAV-8B). Appears to be a direct pantograph down, including etch and photo-instruments. Quickboost do a speedbrake and well, and ObscureCo do a very nice set of nozzles. All are designed for the Hasegawa kit, but should fit the Airfix kit too. Eduard do a number of sets for the interior and exterior bits. The only issue with the Aires set fot he kit you are doing is that their current release is for the day Harrier versions and so the instrument panel is different in layout. Interior colour is FS36231 as others have already mentioned. Colour matches from mainstream paint ranges are: Humbrol 140 Tamiya XF-54 Xtracolor/Xtracrylics X131 Gunze Sangyo Acqueous H57 or H317 Model Master 1740
  6. Hey Mike, You are aware that the P in WIP stands for Progress? ie. something has to be happening/progress should be being made...

    Paint for Star Wars

Instructions call for Gunze H315 (FS16440) for the main fuselage/cockpit colour, so you could get away with any pale grey pretty easily. If you wanted to be correct, then you would need to use any of the following which are matches: Gunze Sangyo Acqueous H315 Humbrol 129 or 183 Tamiya XF-20 (I see you have this, so there is your answer) Modelmaster 1730 Hope that helps. regards, Craig. Edit: Are you aware that there are English translated instructions online at www.hlj.com
  8. If you don't mind an international option, you could try http://www.acornmodels.co.nz/. I was in there last week and they had 3 sheets of it.
  9. Nicely done Viper Shaun. Now to the subject at hand. All of your pics of the Harrier have disappeared from the ARC thread. Any chance you can repost. Trying to get my TAV-8B done and all the in-progress and parts pics you posted were quite helpful in trying to get mine done. Did you think the Alitaliane set was worth it? Has to be better than the POS C&H set I started with.

    HARRIERS !!!

URL should be http://www.airventure.org/2007/news/071004_videos.html Edit: VMA-513 Blue Tail Bird - sweet!
  11. tramoggia dell'erba di pazienza. Besides, not a whole lot to show yet. Still in the construction phase. Only deviations from out of the box are some embossed foil wing seals, Aires seats, PP Aeroparts AIM-9 fins and opened up a couple of the vents which Hasegawa give you decals for. Thanks Dave, suspected you might know the answer.
  12. All the kits I have say wheel wells, gear legs and inside of gear doors are to be painted white, but I seem to recall these as actually being a pale grey. Am I correct or is white the correct colour? Edit: Oooh, post #1. Popped my cherry on that one...
