As others have said, you chose a tough one to get back to the hobby! Excellent job, though Too bad for the fuselage splitting after inserting the nose ring, but we won't look underneath, I promise I'm with @kelly9mm for the yellow, a thin base coat with white is the way to go. Also, since you mentioned you are going to update your pics, may I suggest you use a different background, to wit not white? Light blue, ideally - it will help a lot in better showing the great job you did with this. Ciao
