Can honestly say I've never seen a Beau in the white CC scheme before. Where were they based from? (I live not far from a former Beaufighter base at North Coates)
-
Models like that make me want to build F-teens

-
Len, that is an excellent rendition of a kit well past its sell by date

Pete - very impressed so far (as usual).
-
Well, their Bronze was excellent - one coat was about 90% enough. The yellow was so-so, not really a noticable difference from using Tamiya yellow.
-
folded wings, open canopy, excellent finish.......man you make this vacform thing look like a breeze - but I won't be fooled! Outstanding piece of modelling

-
Hmmmm, interesting! :whistling:

*Imagines Neil's eyes lighting up with visions of ££££££££££££££££££££ at all the aftermarket sets he can produce....*

On a serious note, I am quite surprised. We already know Trumpy are doing a 1/32 AV-8B which means GR5/7/9 will/could be done

But in order of popularity/sales, I would have it at
1) Phantom FGR1/2
2) Lightning
3) Buccaneer
4) Jaguar
Of course, there have been rumours of 1-3 for several months on ARC.....
Not that I'm complaining about a 1/32 Jag mind, if its owt like their Dauntless (which I am itching to start) we're in for a treat

-
Very nice
Are these 1.72? I also thought Revell had announced a 72nd Raptor.Between that and their Typhoons they have 2 cash cows that should keep them in business for a decade or two

-
Hmm, can't see a decal forum so this'll do

They have some subjects that intrest me, but what are their quality?
-
So, if someone releases an MR4 conversion set, and someone else releases an AEW3 conversion set, would it be wrong of me to bash them all together and make an AEW5?

-
that Mig is looking great!
-
I remember those articles!
In fact, your 2-seater inspired me/gave me the courage to have a bash @ the Aeroclub conversion myself. You were right - the ideal first conversion for a modeller (vacform canopies excepted
) -
Based upon your guys recomendations I picked up a couple of tins (Dwarfen gold = Bronze and some yellow). I'll let you know how I get on.
-
I got one....
-
I do like that Lynx

-
Niiiiiiice. Especially the frightning

-
*evil laugh*
-
Who makes a 1/72 vacform Bucc? And why?

-
If I had the time, I'd be tempted to try my hand at a tank, but with work, modelling aircraft, running this website & all, I doubt I'd be able to give it any time
Yeah, but tanks are dead easy. Especially the newer tool 1/72 stuff. Try the Revell Cromwell, esquisite little kit

-
mmmmmm, PRU Blue..........

-
Love the Jug! Is that the same pilot in them all? Must be one helluva log-book he has!

-
Tony is cool isn't he? It's that cravatte
But was the rumour about him and Geoffrey from Rainbow true?

-
wow, lovely work so far. Looks very realistic

-
Man oh man....first a scratchbuilt 1/48 Halifax, now this!
I give up.........
