[*]Scream like a big baby (like some did about the Dragon P-51D) and throw the whole lot in the bin
[*]Sell your kit(s - you couldn't resist buying lots, could you?) on eBay, and do something completely different, like an F-18 - you couldn't get more different really, could you? Well, unless you exclude helicopters & every other kit of the world's aircraft that you usually ignore.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I dare you, I double dare you to post this

That last close-up is brilliant - it looks like proper beaten panels! Fantastic

-
But I like enamels
I doubt that will work on the EU Technocrats

-
Well thanks to the suggestion from our very own Gary West I'm off to Coningsby tomorrow so a 1:32 P-47 is not on the shopping list until I've re-couped the petrol cost on my jaunt. However it is the end of the month, I'm on leave, and I have a shed-load of overtime coming to me, so who can say !!
PM inbound Ian. And Newark Air Museum with its fantastic model shop is just down the road from Coningsby....

I've tried pastel chalks with 0% success

Spoilt for choice as to what I will enter....
1/76 Universal Carrier Ambulance (probly in Diorama)?
1/72 Dragon Sherman Firefly?
1/76 Matchbox Churchill AVRE?
1/35 Dragon Sherman Firefly?
1/35 Tamiya Centaur IV?
1/76 Milicast Black Prince?
1/76 Milicast Tortoise?

go to the MiG website, there are a couple of UK importers, but I forget who right now.

I have found them very easy to use, and the results they give are excellent. Even for a muppet like me, a very realistic weathering job can be done with the minimum of effort.
-
And if Revell rebox it, it will be even cheaper!!!!

Thankfully Hasegawa are running out of Nazi subjects to do in 1/32, so hopefully we'll see a few more allied subjects from them.
-
That undercart looks *very* realistic. Top stuff.

Just remember Leigh, modelling is fun, modelling is fun......

Shiny! What metallic finish is that?

Going to be an E from RAF Upper Heyford, my old Alma Mata!
How's your hearing? For me those beasts were the loudest things in the sky back in the 80s - real window rattlers.
-
Hannants have it listed at a very reasonable £27 - which fits in with the price range of their other new tool warbirds in 1/32
I'll certainly be getting one and eagerly await some FEAF decals

-
Of course the sooner you build it, the sooner Trumpeter will release it in 1/48

-
Very nicely done
Love the exhausts and the their staining.Should the wheel wells be Azure Blue though?
-
As I've said before, best get a solution in the next 2 years, cos by then enamels will be a thing of the past in Europe...
-
Its very hard to get a sense of scale from in-progress photos, but this one looks really small. But still nice

-
Gorgeously splendiferous!
What kit and scale?
Biplanes scare me.

Working in a lab has its advantages

-
Wow, I can only sit back in admiration (and jealousy) of such craftsmanship!
-
Yep, saw the big advert in SAMI, looks like a pretty comprehensive range

-
