  1. I'm struggling to pick out a favourite here. The 262, the P-47, the Jag? They are superb. Cheers, Tom
  2. You have done a fantastic job on that cockpit. I will follow with interest. Always loved the Phantom. Cheers, Tom
  3. Excellent work. I especially like the Hawker Fury with all the rigging. Must have been a nightmare in 1/72. Cheers, Tom
  4. Excellent. I really like the Airfix Vixen, and your example is superb. Cheers, Tom.
  5. Very nice. Most impressed with this. You can never get bored with Phantoms. Cheers, Tom.
  6. Fantastic Andy. Lovely paint job and decal scheme. How was the fit of the CMK Cockpit? I have a couple of Revell 1/32 kits and a single Big-Ed set, so could be interested. Cheers, Tom.
  7. I haven't used any tube glue since I was 16. I am 44 now,and tend to use either revell or humbrol liquid poly (the sort with the needle tube), and have a bottle of the extra runny stuff with the brush on standby. Probably answers you question indirectly - sorry. Tom.
  8. Brilliant. Weathering perfect. Chipping perfect. Very impressive. Thanks for sharing, Tom.
  9. That's good to hear. I have my eye on these old Airfix 1/24 scale WW2 kits. I have heard a few 'not so good' things about the Mk.1 Spitfire. The Hurricane does take my fancy, as does the Stuka. Thanks mate. Tom.
  10. Nice to see something different. How did you find the kit quality / assembly?

    Humbrol Clear....

A good question. The lack of product testing prior to hitting the shops is clearly lacking. What I don't understand is why, considering Humbrol have been making noises about incresing product quality and discontinuing production in China, etc. Seems to be the reverse of their coporate strategy. Tom.
  12. I am impressed at how yourself and others on this site can take less than mediocre kits and turn them into a work of art. Very impressive. Cheers, Tom.
  13. That piece of work is incredible. Absolutely incredible. Especially you lozenge work. Cheers, Tom
  14. Wow. Impressive stuff. Love the lotus -a lot. Thanks for sharing. Tom.
  15. I'd pay for the 1/32 version in a heartbeat.
  16. I've read a number of good things about the Rivet-r. I think I will have a play with the Trumpeter and upgrade when I get the chance. Looking forward to the next update.
  17. Wow. I especially like the soft edges on your F-4C camo. Cheers Tom
  18. Looking at the rules on the first page, paint does not seem to fall under aftermarket tag. At least I hope not.
  19. I flush my H&S Ultra with Revell airbrush cleaner and the strip it down to clean the innards with Spraycraft Aerosol cleaner. It works for me and takes less than 5 minutes.
  20. No. The JSF is far from being cancelled. If that goes, our two carriers under construction will be useless as they are designed around it.
  21. Yes. Definitely a waste. I only know two ex Sea Harrier pilots. One is a test pilot on the JSF Programme in Fort Worth. The other is working in IT.
