  1. Thank you for bringing to my attention about the Matt area around the cockpit I hadn’t noticed on photos of the real thing. I will make the necessary adjustments and yes it’s my lighting that is giving the colour that off colour. Cheers

Hi all Here is my 1:200 model of the RAF’s newest acquisitions the Poseidon MRA.1 I used the Hasegawa P-8A Poseidon kit (10830) and Draw Decal RAF Poseidon MRA.1 set (20s-737-176) I finished it in markings of the first Poseidon received by the RAF ZP801 based at RAF Lossiemouth with 120 SQD i used Xtracolor X301 Boeing Grey for the main colour and Tamiya paints for all other parts Thanks for looking and Happy Modelling

Hi the roundels were a pain to go down, there are holes in the decal for the vortex generators to fit through which isn’t to much of a problem but there is another prominent feature that the decal needs to conform to and here is where I had trouble which need loads of decal setting solution but both roundels still split on me so just had to touch up with paint πŸ‘

Hi all I present to you my Airfix 1:48 Javelin FAW.9/9R I finished it back in October but only just got round to posting here It’s in the markings of no 64 Squadron Royal Air Force based at Tengah in Singapore during the 1960’s Aftermarket sets include Eduard cockpit interior and Master replacement pitot tubes Tamiya and Mr Hobby paints used throughout the build A throughly enjoyable build Thanks for looking and happy modelling

  7. Hi all I’m building the Airfix 1:48 Javelin in the colours of 64 Squadron based out in Singapore and could anyone tell me what paint finish they had ie a Gloss, Satin or Matt finish and were there well kept clean or were they well weathered many thanks

Hi all im a little confused with the types of propeller blades fitted to mkix spits I always thought they were made of wood but while I was on the internet I came across these pictures and noticed the blades were bent rather than shattered which I would of expected could anyone enlighten me many thanks pictures from the the Free Czech Air Force website https://fcafa.com/2012/09/19/spitfire-aircraft-of-310-sqn-312-sqn-and-313-sqn/
