Hi allĀ
Here is my 1:48 L-39ZA by Trumpeter (05805) l started this back in September 2023 and finished it on New Yearās Day!
I should of had it finished back in November 23 but had an disaster with the canopies which resulted in me having to order replacements.
Anyway as with all my builds of 2023 this was another kit that was picked out of the stash by my wife for me to build.
I brought a few aftermarket items for this build,
Eduard cockpit photo etch set (FE920) Eduard seatbelts (FE921) Eduard TFace canopy masks (EX612) Quickboost L-39ZA Gun Pod (QB48 858) Quickboost L-39ZA Pylons (QB48 855) Reskit L-39 Wheel set (RS48-0210) Master pitot tubes (AM-48-106).
I decided on aftermarket decals from Model Maker Decals (L-39ZA 30 Years in Bulgarian Service (MMD-D48109)
I used Life colour paints for the first time on this build and canāt say I was overly impressed with them.
Tamiya paints also usedĀ
Thanks for looking and Happy ModellingĀ

Hi all
Here is the excellent Airfix BLACKBURN BUCCANEER S.2C in 1:72 scaleĀ
this kit has been sat on my shelf of doom part built for at least 2 years having lost my mojo at the time!
anyway the project Iām on at the moment (Trumpter 1:48 L-39) stalled due waiting for the correct paints to arrive so I decided to get the Buccaneer off the shelf and get it finished šĀ
the only extras i added to the kit was a Eduard cockpit Photo Etch set!
I chose to do one from the kit markings options XV154 of no.809 NAS HMS Ark Royal in 1972Ā
Tamiya paints used throughoutĀ
The extra dark sea grey I used Tamiya Ā XF-54 Dark Sea Grey mixed with XF-18 Medium BlueĀ
a quite enjoyable build thanks for looking and happy modellingĀ

Very nice, even better ifā¦
1. Fitted with 100-gal combat tanks, the larger 190s were not an Indian Navy fit. An easy fix.
2. It had EDSG intakes all the way back to the compressor blades. Another easy fix.
3. It had the extended twin-stick 1st gen Harriersā AAR probe, which They stopped the pilot getting neck-lock to the left when prodding š
I believe these will be available soon from Black Dog.
Otherwise nicely done.Ā
āHarriers are complex beasts.ā

Hi allĀ
I present my latest build Kineticās 1:48 T-Harrier (K48040)
as with a lot of my models I wanted to do the kit in something other than the kit supplied markings so chose to do a Indian Navy Harrier.
Well this has been a build of ups and downs a certainly nearly beaten me on more than one occasion but I was determined to get if done (well almost) I may revisit it at some point to finish some minor details but for now Iām done with it.
anyway this was another kit picked out of the stash by my wife as this has been the theme this year.
I purchased some aftermarket bits for it.
Eduard Big ED set containing sets (48945)(49882)(EX576)&(FE883)
Master brass pitot (AM-48-069)
Model Alliance Decals BAe Sea Harrier pt.1 (MA-48153)
Tmayia paints used throughoutĀ
windsor and newton gloss and satin varnishesĀ
flory dark dirt wash and Abteilung Starship filth oil paint
thanks for looking and happy modellingĀ
