According to the list I have, ZD404 had the 65% LERX.

I recently finished one of these and it was a lovely kit to assemble, apart from the main undercarriage doors (which were a bit of a faff).
-
Lovely work, as always. The Italian fighters with in-line engines always look graceful.

Hawker Sea Fury FB.11***FINISHED***
Beard replied to PeterB's topic in Here comes the Fleet Air Arm GB
I quite fancy a Sea Fury and had been toying with the PM one, possibly trying to jazz-up the interior with some bits from a scrapped Tempest. -
1:72 Airfix Bristol Blenheim Mk.IVF
Beard replied to Navy Bird's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
I have several of these in the stash and I *think* they have the bomber bits, the fighter bits (gunpack and radar) are on a separate sprue, it certainly is on the Blenheim I. -
It's quite dark under the wing but I can't see the bit (sorry to use such a technical term) that held breech and ammunition. I think that's a Tiger Moth.

I know this kit has been sitting in your cabinet/ on the shelf for several months but I've just bought this kit and have aftermarket stickers so, if you want the kit ones for the missing Marine one, drop me a PM and I'll pop them in the post.

Rareplanes 1/72nd Ryan ST/PT Trainer - old school vac form
Beard replied to Troy Smith's topic in Not My Comfort Zone GB
I'll use that as an excuse for buying (more) pain au chocolate. Nice work on the kit, I have a vacform Seafire that I feel might be making it's way to you soon. -
If it's any help, I didn't bother with the nose turret when I made an Airfix Stirling. I just glued a 25-pounder field gun in the opening. I was 12 years old mind.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. I've probably got some Eduard tailwheel doors in the spares box. I'll have a rummage and let you know.

Rareplanes 1/72nd Ryan ST/PT Trainer - old school vac form

There was a crusty element to the Wessex punk thing which offended the Mod part of me. I've got a couple of Aeroclub Spitfire XIIs in the stash, I ought to give them a go. -

Now, that is a tremendous album. Nice work on the vacform, BTW. -
I'm not sure this will help but the AZ mkIX wing will fit the Sword Seafire XV fuselage with only a little persuasion and filler.
-
That's what I used (the rest came from the spares box). The late production XV, to be exact as it's easier to remove the arrestor hook (you just cut off the rudder and replace with a suitably pointy one). IIRC, there's a spare late production XV fuselage in the Sword Seafire XVIII boxing.

I've recently finished the original Esci boxing and it's a nice kit although I'm sure I've read something about the tanks been a bit 'off'.

The Ukrainian Air Force sent this tweet with a video of an aircraft firing a pixilated missile, could it be an AMRAAM?

Hasegawa 1/72 F-106A *** Finished ***
Beard replied to AdrianMF's topic in Big In Japan - Classic Japanese Kits GB
They both look splendid. I can only hope that the F-102 and 106 I have in my to-build pile come out half as good. -
New! Mikro Mir 1/72 Scale Martin XB-51 Bomber
Beard replied to TheRealMrEd's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
I'll be following (if that's okay). I first discovered the XB-51 when I was maybe 7 or 8 and my Grandmother gave me some Martin promotional material that my Dad had got as a kid. -
"The Six" - 101st FIG Massachusetts ANG F-106 Delta Dart
Beard replied to reini's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
That's rather splendid and I'll be consulting your WiP when I get round to making mine (not that it'll look anywhere as nice). -
1:72 Airfix Handley Page Victor B.Mk.2
Beard replied to Navy Bird's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
I almost bought one of these the other day but had second thoughts when I realised it was bigger than the space I do modelling in. Now I can live vicariously through your build (which'll be far better than I could do it). -
As I understand it, it's to do with people nicking stuff. https://www.kbobm.org/terms_conditions.html
