Ceramic composites for the tiles on the nose, leading edge and under side of the fuselage, not quite the same thing but anyway i am not getting lost in that.

The A-12 SR-71 and YF-12A were all titanium metal composites, a carbon or kevlar composite would all fail in the heat as all carbon and Kevlar mesh composite are all held together with resin and that would melt. Still its a what if so have a lie down :-) Thanks for looking. Danny

Another one off the bench for 2017, this time around another 1/48 Anigrand Firefox with a what if of a what if NMF, all done with various mixes of Alclad II. A few issues here and there with the Alclad but no crazing, the coat of Future over the gloss black base has eliminated that issue. Next up will be a lighted 1/48 Fine Molds X-WING but that is for next week, time to catch up with a few jobs elsewhere. :-) Thanks for Looking. Danny
