a friend has a 3D printer and asked me if there is something I would like him to print for me. the first thing that came to mind is turnbuckles and eyelets for WWI planes. I have a few models sitting in my stash which I keep aside as my experience with rigging up to now wasn't the best one and I'm hoping that using turnbuckles will make my life easier. i even tried to create a design using 3D software but i'm not sure that i did a good job. are there any free designs available you are willing to share? thanks a lot Tommy

Thanks a lot Jurgen, I have also found out in the meantime that Italeri is probably re-issuing the kit this year. https://www.flipsnack.com/FC99678A9F7/catalogue-and-preview-2018-ftp0b95m7.html -

Be careful with the decals, these are very fragile and you can easily destroy them. avoid using any solutions.

nice build ! -
i am not sure if this is relevant but I got a replacement canopy back in 1998 from ACADEMY for their P-47 thunderbold in 1/48. back then, I had no idea who was the importer in Europe or anything else, so I wrote them an email directly. withour receiving a reply, a month later i received a package at the post from KOREA. it was the replacement canopy. i am not sure whom to contact today, but why not talk to Academy Europe? http://www.academy-europe.de/
