The New 1/48th Revell Beaufighter TF.X,,...... FINISHED
AlCZ replied to tonyot's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
I don't understand what is better as 22 years old Tamiya kit... Toylike surface without riveting, ugly white plastic made in Poland - i hate it - many misaligment in old Revell kits. When i build a Tamiya was it a shake and bake build and engines or undercarriage you can install at last. It was a half snap tite kit... and i can really don' t see any difference between old Tamiya and new Revell. Tamiya is still good kit, for good price and was a no problem build... I wait for Night Fighter from Revell and test it, but i really don't what is better... Their Mossie Bomber isn' t better as Tamiya -
Now what kit was better. WnW have a render only Hk full plastic. I hope a HK give on their kit nice price they solt many kits before WnW really released their kit.

Airfix New Tooling Announcement - 1/48th Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIV
AlCZ replied to Leamy's topic in The Rumourmonger
I can nice 1/48 Wellington. Better as Trum/Hb... -
What ? ANOTHER LANCASTER ? WHY ? I probably go to HK; i can't wait another year... and Dambuster in 1/32 is relative boring subject. Famous operation - but this is all. Standard night bomber was better.

1/72 - MiG-15 "Fagot" by Zvezda (plastic Dragon Models) - released
AlCZ replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
This is shame ! Zvezda can good quality kits from their own moulds. I don't understand why this very important fighter jet don' t make as new tool (and later upscaled to 1/48). Dragon is ugly cold war parody... Eduard and H/B and good old KP are better... i think a MiG 15 was for Russian a important piece of national proud and they released a re-box of this ugly kit ? I have a Czechoslovak Fifteen L.E from Ed and two snap kit from HB; but - new kit from Zvezda i bought too- MiG 15 is nice small jet and we have on it many beautiful camo (not from Korean War only...). Thumb down Zvezda... (Most ugly kit is both(old and new) Airfix - this isn't MiG; this is a garbage... but Dragon is second.. -
1/72 Haunebu - a "Banned" Nazi UFO from Revell
AlCZ replied to AlCZ's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thank you very much for Yours kind words.. -
When you played a Wolf 3D on your Mom PC on "286" in early ´90 When you seen a "Ancient Aliens" TV Show When play a Wolfenstein New Order, Old Blood and New Collosus on your hi-end computer or XBone/PS-4 Or when you need a relax - snap it - kit. Buy Haunebu and enjoy it ! (Revell removed what if texts from box and now it this Hand and Hands re-box back in shelves... (Squadron kit is different kit - not the same plastic as Revell/Hand and Hands and Modelcollect prepare Haunebu with twin barrel FLAK canon... ). I build this kit as "snap it" - without Glue and used new Tamiya Acrylic paints, few drops of Alcad II, emblems are from Decal Sheet in kit, Swastikas are Propagteam "German Insignia" in 1/32 scale. Unfortunatelly kit is (as all Haunebu kits) relative expensive. Enjoy ! Thanx for seen !

1/32 Tamiya F-4J Diamond Backs
AlCZ replied to chameleon2009's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Why is this topics named as A-4 ? A-4 is Skyhawk and this is F-4 Phantom II.... But build is very nice -
Cockpit is a black pit. It's here a rod construction; oxygen bootle; few small instrument panels and dashboard...this is all. I can close pit so i don't glue all details.

Thank You.

My brand new ICM Polikarpov 1/32 "Chaika" biplane. I love this small biplane with retracted gear from time i bought it a venerable Směr (ex Heller i think) in "communistic time" in one small toyshop in Brno. In manual was a brief history and story from Chalchin-Gol incident - a Japanese fighters engaged a Soviet I-15 fighters - but suddenly a I-15 retracted their gears - and Japanese airmens have problem... Later, in democracy, was this kit re-released in Finnish marking and resin skies. But 1/72 is too small, 1/48 is good but 1/32 was GREAT ! Simple straighforward build - i bought this kit at Friday and from Weekend was over. Camo is a little what if, i found I-153 with red nose, but i like blue on Soviet planes... Shiny beautifull biplane, maybe a high ranking officer, maybe aerobatics, maybe a Stalins Falcon from Chalchin-Gol... I hope in my favourite Finnish Air Force captured Chaika was released later and build in future another one. Hmmm, ICM - can you make an Gloster Gladiator in Big scale, please ? And this particular blue-nosed i can later composed to small diorama - maybe with Soviet pilots, maybe as abadoned on captured Soviet airfield with German soldier near after begining Operation Barbarossa...

New 1/72 metal-wing Hurricane I from Arma Hobby -- Released!
AlCZ replied to Procopius's topic in The Rumourmonger
A small request for Arma Hobby: Can you please make a Czechoslovak Limited Edition with Czechoslovak squadron from BoB ? Thank you very much ! -
In autumn lineup is prepared a B R I T I S H Turret nosed (J-version) Liberator from Eduard (as Coastal Command plane ) - Riders on the Sky ´45. (Same new tool parts as have previous glass nosed version… How many People bought another, relative boring R.A.F. Liberator from Airfix ? i supposed a chinese Trumpeter/Hobby Boss They maybe released a down-scaled Liberator in future…. Airfix is British company and may be released a "home" aircraft. Especially in "quarter scale". Yup, an Liberator, Boeing, or Lancaster/Halifax in quarter scale… or NT Vulcan… But in Airfix is few a strange decision in "small scale line" - why don´t released a metal wing Hurricane Mk. I (And new tool Mk. IIC - their decade old mould is horrible, with trenches….) or cannon Hurri in 1/48 ? Vulcan (1/72), Bulldog & Fury (or Hart) bi-plane, quarter scale British bombers, maybe a new tool Mossie (They have a data from their "car scale" kit, no ?). Or Curtiss C-46 "Commando" (1/72&1/48) - soooo beautiful plane, flying in many liveries and camos, and don´t exist as modern injected kit….
-
Be realistic. All is prepare for "car scale" Tempest. In this gigantic scale airfix need a hit...and no very british but only in UK popular type...(Seafury; Hawk etc...). Spitfire Mk IXc...is potentional bestseller.
-
MiG-21 is "heart" type for many Czech (and Czechoslovak) modelers. And many people call for option early buying. And this is a result. You can´t wait to may, you can have "Fishbed" soon.

Airfix 2018 range announcement due 10.00 09/01/2018
AlCZ replied to Stephen's topic in The Rumourmonger
Hmm, Revell make a nice tornado kits - yup, are a twenty years old +-, but mould was Made in Korea and have nice fine details... I think a little upgrade of moulds was be good. And Italeri prepare Gr.4 in 1/32, maybe later downscaled it ? It´ s ironic a twenty years old Tonka from Revell was better as three years old Gripen. Yupy yup.... (moulded in Poland) -
Airfix 2018 range announcement due 10.00 09/01/2018
AlCZ replied to Stephen's topic in The Rumourmonger
Hi - i wish all merry X-mas ! I hope for 1/24 Tempest Mk. V - engine is similar with Typhoon.... and it is a famous aircraft, now with new tool kits in 1/48 and 1/32 - so 1/24 is logic - and it is a popular subject worldwide. Another popular subject (and never realised in this big scale) is - Me-262. Schwalbe is one from most popular WW II aircraft and in car scale isn´t in market. Or - last Spitfire Mk. IX... Main version of Spitfire in mid-late period of WW II and after war... When Airfix made a C/E wing you have a plenty of colourful camouflage...and it is most popular version of Spitfire... (used with many nations...) and engine parts from it you can used in Mk. VIII and in new tool Mustang... Don´t forget - Hornby have a problems and they must make a popular subject... no specialites for few modelers.... And Tempest, Schwalbe and Spit Mk. IX are very popular.... Or 1/48 heavy bombers... - all kits from Monogram and Tamiya on this theme are ancient and obsolete... -
Oh God...my dream kit is on the way... I must have it... Lancaster is for me a symbol of british victory over nazi Germany... Unfortunately - is probably expensive, huge and in box are parts for standard bomber... No Dam Buster and no Tallboy/Grandslam.... Kit all 3in1 was ideal... I havent place for two gigantic "Lanc"
-
In short time may be released new kits from Takom and Meng - and minimal Meng prepare a new tool kit of "A" version. My advice - wait for this new kits. (Takom was with full interior kit.)
