  1. I have Revell's huge "Eagle Owl" in my stack (eee-on case )) ) and - i know - here were a accuracy very discussed - but - when i'm not read it i can say - "Hey, dude, this is a really Uhu...". I can't chop anything But - when Revell know where is problem he can repair it in smallest scale, no ? Yes, Tamiya may be better - but they relased a quarter scale Heinkel ago a decade - and - nothing.... Sincerely-it is a cheap, big and relative accurate kit of this gorgeous Nachtjäger.... Maybe is Zoukei- Mura better - but is more expensive. Now Revell relased new Ju-88C-6 and is nice.
  2. I hope in new tool Uhu from Revell - a downscaled 1/32 kit. Maybe next few years ?
  3. I need two No, no... Five ! One Dahl, one Pattle, and Faith, Hope, Love ... And one Swedish - eee- Finnish from Winter War OK. I Need SIX ! Well done, "Fix" well done !
  4. Don't worry - 1/32 and 1/72 are very nice kits, i'm think a new 1/48 may be nicest ! I build a Germany IDS ago decade - and it is still nice kit with great details... Quarterscale brother must be excellent ))
  5. Ok Thanx ! I saw new "Strip down" Camel from hasegawa 1/16 - it's gorgeous ! But - it is a strip down
  6. I hear a rumors WIngnut may relased Camel. But in Wingnut web i can't found it. It is fact or speculation ? Camel is my favorite fighter from Great War... Thank you !
  7. I bought today two new Tiffies from Airfix. Is very nice indeed. But - what is the cuckoo doors ? I can build bomb-armed Tiffy first... Thank you
  8. Eduard may be relased an P-47D kit (ex Academy) in limited edition. On summer coming another "Spit´s" Mk. IXe (early) and IXe. In prepare is a new tool Bf 109G-6 on autumn, And on first months of 2014 Eduard may be relase a Spitfire Mk.VIII. Next month (?) they relased MiG-21PFM. I never heard anything of B-25 or P-51, but i think they may be limited editions, not new tool kits...
  9. Yup, but reality is - boring... But here you have IMHO very nice Spit from new Eduard kit - with very realistic weathering... http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=75455
  10. Im´don´t know what in Britain - but - was i say - is riveting a mode trend. Maybe it is a bit unreal - but in Czech all modelers (and very few not) make rivets line on its kits... I see now at photos of new tool Revell Bf 109G-6, This model haven´t a rivets and look it - strange... Big scale fighter without rivets ? I have a theory - old school -and this is Revell kits - i have in my shelf an huge Uhu - and this twin engined beast haven´t riveting ! Or i look at too new tool Lynx helicopter in the same scale - and too - no rivets !!!! When i compared 1/48 Lynx from Airfix (with plastic rivets) and Revell 1/32 (without rivets) smallest kit looks more realistic - real helicopter is a "forest of rivets". And second part is new school - and this is a Tamiya Spitfire and Mustang - fine rivets on every part.... Only who have problem with rivets is trumpeter/hobby boss, but in new P-61 look it good. Oldest kits have on surface work of mad riveter but Widow is nice... And a long long time ago i have 1/72 Su-2 attack plane from ICM with plastic rivets - and too look good. When is kit without rivets i can´t make riveting, but i must say - in biggest scale as 1/72 is surface without rivets empty... I´m sure a new tool quarter scale Gustav from Eduard beat new Revell´s 1/32. But - i bought both Revell was probably cheap and this version is very attractive for non German marking.... (Finnish or Swiss air force marking or Czechoslovak post war police force plane...) Oh yes, on Eduard´s Nine is a little trick - this project was began as 1/32 challanger for Tamiya´s Spit. It is a high probability a downscaled 1/32. With all problems and effect who may a modern big scale kit have...
  11. Jennings - this is a new mode in Czech Republic. YOU MUST MAKE A RIVETS ! UNDERSTAND ? YOU MUST ! Ok, ok.... you make a.... Mustang. Mustang have smooth surface... With putting rivets.... But - you must make a rivets ! MUST ! FOR ANY PRICE ! First question when is relased another model is on czech kit makers forums - Have you a rivets blueprint ??? No kidding, i thing a rivets on Eduard´s Spit are very decent and model lookin´very good. My first impression is - it is a Tamiya baby Spit... Scale modeling isn´t a touch of reality- it is a touch of impression, you can´t build a downscale plane, you build an mirage... Model kits are generally unreal... You must make a rivets, preshading, airbrushing, pigments, dry brush.. Within this isn´t a model complete. No patine - no complete model. But when i can compare a model with rivets and without rivets, model with FINE rivets won. EDUARD´s rivet´s isn´t a mad riveter work...
  12. Hi, i have in my stash a five Lancasters - standard bomber, Grand Slam and Tallboy from Hasegawa and standard bomber and DamBuster from Revel(New tool, not ancient kit for sixties...)l. I read a Revell have a pair inaccuraties and shape problem, Hasegawa have poor interior.... Is this new Airfix superior of Hasegawa and Revell ? It is a best Lancaster ? Can you compare a Hasegawa and Revell kit with this new tool Airfix ? Thank you.
  13. Why do not wait to June ? Eduard relased this month Mk. IX early and Mk. IXe as Overtrees.,,, And in Royal Class you have all three variants (early, late, "E" wing,,,)
  14. Spitfire Mk.VIII may be relased probably in springs 2014.... Wait !
  15. In 6/2013 was Mk IXc early & IXe relased as Overtrees edition. Mk. VIII is announced for next year(january/february 2014 ???)
  16. I look on this kit a last week. And i´m dissapointed. I´m never registred Macchi, but Gladiator is ugly and expensive (7GBP)-have terrible engine and really ugly fabric on the wings. Il-2 is good choice when you can a cheap Sturmovik, but i think an Academy and Tamiya was better choice... I wait a many years for new mainstream kit of Gladiator and forthcoming Airfix was probably better kit of this famous biplane. The chinese isn´t good
  17. Hi i have it from last Friday in Profipack version and today i ordered two another "bros" in OverTrees. Back armor is very simple and you can make it from plastic card. Photo etched parts are here - in Czech - critised - they are very expensive. It´s better buying a Profipack - or Overtrees and Brassin cockpit. Price is little high as P.E. but it is a resin. Gun port´s fabric patches are very decent and nice details... Don´ t worry.
  18. I compared both models in local model shop - and i can´t say which is better. I´m military aircraft fan, but Jumbo jet is classic and i can´t build an ancient mould... Revell is better and accurate as Zvezda ? Price is +- same... Thx.
