Re-supply set is relative cheap and here are a nicest truck´s tractors etc. what i seen in plastic on small scale... Trumpeter´s 1/72 Wimpy´s haven´t bomb load too... (But 1/48 yes... strange...)

Weekend isn´t limited edition. It is cheapest edition (Understand-standard edition by any other model company...) without P.E. and only one camouflage. Here in Czech are extreme cheap, newest weekend - 1/72 Bf 110G-2 cost 8.72GBP. Limited edition were with re-box of plastic of competitive company (for example - Academy) with resin and P.E. parts and big decals sheet. (Jugs over Germany, Fighting Eagles etc...) Royal Class (eduard´s own kits in black boxes) or special time limited offers - as our guys are back (Naši se vracejí) - "Patriotic" edition with decals for Czechoslovak, Israeli and Burma AF with 40 camouflage options... And standard by Eduard is profipack - plastic parts, P.E., maybe brassin and six camouflage in orange-white boxes... Last option is OverTrees - time limited offer without decals, instruction, decals - simple - only plastic - in plain white box... Il-2m3 is very old kit, first relased a decade ago... I have it, isn´t bad, but it is a short run style, today i think is best offer from Academy for straight or Tamiya for swept wing double seated Sturmovik... And Eduard kits as 1/48 and 1/72 Hellcats or 1/72 Bf 110C/D/E/G or Bf 109E in all variant´s or 1/48 MiG-21 and - sure - newest Spitfire Mk. IX in quarter scale are very nice... Oldest kit´s as 1/48 Fw-190A (Short Butcher birds) or Bf 110 old version (not "G") in 1/48 isn´t IMHO too good. Focke-Wulf have all out (guns, engine etc..) and is simple made all open as closed and oldest version of "Zerstörer" is better from CyberHobby (Dragon) too same 1/32 Bf 109E... I love their Hellcat´s, MiG´s, small scale Bf 110, 1/48 Bf 110G and Spitfire... This i have in lot boxes ))

Sorry i think a belly turret was remote controled and i see it is remoted by belly gunner over the periscop sight. Removing of this underbelly "stinger" cost B.C. many lives of crews... And make "open season" for Schräge Musik fitted Nachtjägers :( Booom, booom, booom and bomber is down :/

Airfix 1/72 FW190A-8 - a look in the box and a build with new Humbrol Acrylics
AlCZ replied to John's topic in Aircraft WWII
I look for references to "box art" aircraft and this particular airplane haven´t outboard cannons (look at excellent build of Hasegawas 1/32 "Butcher Bird" by Jerry Crandall on HS)and may carry WGr 21 grenade launcher. This is a very atractive weaponry but in box isn´t... Is WGr 21 made as aftermarket ? (Or i can buy a Weekend edition of Eduard´s Bf 110G-2 and this have WGr 21 in box, no ?) -
I have a long time ago and Hasegawa Mk.I "Battle of Britain" at it is a big dissapoitment...Wrong shapes, poor details...
-
Mea culpa, mea culpa. Underbelly remote gun post, not upper remote gun post... Sorry !

1/32 Tamiya and in smallest scale is very nice Revell and Academy " Operation Iraqi Freedom" or Eduard "Strike Eagles" L.E. (The same kit with new decals and P.E. and resin (Brassin) parts. Revell in Europe and as "America Revell" haven´t weaponry and this is for long range tactical bomber a BIG problem. Academy isn´t too accurate but have very nice weapons set in the box. And Academy make an F-15I "Ra´am" or F-15K with accurate weapons for another export version too. And price is nice. When you can a absolute accurate Strike Eagle, buy Revell, when you need a very nice S.E. with gorgeous payload buy Academy or Eduard.
-
Gorgeous decals options !!! And "Old Kut" is too here ! But - haven´t this kit a shape problem ? It is a really Mk. IIC "Hurri" ? Or another parody from Italeri ?
-
I bought it today. Looks very nice - and panels with engine hood from nose to cockpit are removed. I have idea for conversion set to Avia S-199 "Mezek" (Mule)too known as "Sakhin" in IAF. I hope a any a.m. producer make it ! Price is good, acurracy (with reaction on large scale planes) too, in kit are more unused parts for another version of "Gustav". You can make a G-14 from the box (standard, no AS). Unfortunatelly here isn't a "bomber killer" armament as 20mm underwing canon or WGr. 21 or bombs for JABO. I hope a Bf 109 is for German a national treasure as for British Spitfire and Revell construction team make good work and it's "109" really haven't a fatal errors... Now i need a Swiss or Finnish decals only...

I can: WW- II RAF: Hart Hurricane (all versions, brand new) Spitfire Mk. VIII/IXe (brand new, not "juniorized" version) Tempest (1/72 and 1/48) Typhoon "car door" Manchester Beaufighter (Yeees, cheap "Beau" for 68.squardon !) Mosquito Blenheim Meteor USAAF: Black Widow B-26 "Marauder" A-26 "Invader" P-51B/C Mustang P-51K Mustang Corsair (all versions) Wildcat (all versions) Luftwaffe: Bf-109G/K (Not the ugly re-make with big bulbs over the cockpit ) Do-17 Do-215/217 He-219 "Uhu" Reggia Aeronautica: CR.42 "Falco" Fiat. G.50 Macchi MC.200 VVS: La-5FN Jak-1 Jak-9 Il-10 Il-4 Tu-2 Pe-2/Pe -3 Cold War/modern ages: (All in 1/72) Vulcan B-52 (all versions) B-2 Spirit C-17 Globemaster III F-35 "Lighting II" Su-34 Mi-24 Hind(1/48) Ka-50/52 (1/48)

Superb ! Plastic parts looks very good ! Hercules engines, two guns turret and upper remote controled gun post. A bit different in line of Merlin powered Lancasters from other producers.... When we have a Hercules powered" Lanc"now - i hope for Manchester in next years !!!
-
KosoVska Mitrovica. Nice Lecrecs, this tank is one of most beautiful tanks in history. Have a real elegant shapes of turret. French desing school i'mean
-
Is nice ! Unfortunately this camo isn´t in decals. I mean - the blue - white spinner and ring of ventilator looks great ! But - I know something, I know something... Next "Butcherbirds" (And no only A-8) are on the way ))) Brand new in 1/72...
-
On their web look as june relase...
-
Hey, have it someone at home ?
-
But - why bought a worse kit, when you can have better - and decals - i think - isn't problem ?
-
Anyone know anything about the new 1:72 Revell Ju88 C-6 kit?
AlCZ replied to rwoolven76's topic in Aircraft WWII
It's relative cheap and nice. In decals are one of Luftwaffe "Nachtjäger" top aces, danish nobleman Prince Heinrich zu Saint-Wittgenstein and day heavy fighter from "Blitz" squadron. I prefer zu Wittgenstein but its Junkers have relative difficult camouflage on this small scale And radar arrays are ugly !!!! Looks as ladders, not as arrays... -
In Czech Republic cost 29.70GBP. Too many "bucks" for one little "Tse-tse"...
-
Mk. XIV get out of me - this version not serve at Czechoslovak squadrons...But bubble top is nice Im still can't understand why Tamiya don't relased Mk. VII-XIV Spitfire in 1/48... But for me, as czech modeller - eee- sorry - in last time "box collector" it is best choice - Eduard's Spits is cheapest as Tamiya... (Overtrees and future weekend of course.) IMHO - in future Tamiya may be relased their own quarterscale Spits - and they are simple as Eduards kit. (For me, is a few places little complex...) Back to Airfix - i'm little disappointed with quality of moulds. Yes, with Airfix under Hornby managment i BIG fan of this traditional british kitmaker and their moulds are cheap and interest... (I can't wait for Gladiator !) but - oldest moulds are - far better. I think Griffon powered Spits - or English Electric Lightning... New tool of Spits are nice, well detailed but - but "teenage" Spit Mk.22/Seafire Mk.47 is still most beautiful. And - why have new tool small(1/72) Spit's (Mk. I/IIa) shapes problem when old mould was most accurate Spitfire in this scale ? (But - for 3.5GBP - good choice...) And why is relative new Mk. IX in 1/48 too ugly ? For me is generally Spitfire of one in my personal "top five symbols" of Great Britain - 1. Queen 2. Spitfire 3. Churchill 4. English bulldog 5. Marks and Spencer food... It is a little sad new - "Fix" Mk.IX and Mk. Ia aren't good I can't understand why Airfix can't rendered their "national treasure" in good quality...
-
I have from "Fix" only Mk. XII and on discusion and reviews are resume - it's little fat. Another option is Mk. XII from MpM (Special Hobby) but this is (i think) a short run. Mk. I have a last year a comparsion between Airfix and Tamiya-and Tamiya is better, but Airfix have parts for first production Spit with two blade prop and flat top cabine... Mr. Šulc from Eduard say they prepared a complet series of Merlin powered Spitfires... And Revell probably soon made 1/32 Mk. II - and i' think he can downscaled it. I hope in Mk.V family with all config of wing armament... Tamiya is (i read and hear...) inacurrate (but - cute....hmmm.) Hasegawa is too problematic and MpM Mk. Vc (too re-box a Classic Airframes and last time Italeri...) - no comment ))) I don't know how is Tamiya's Spits Mk. I and Vb innacurate - in my eyes are shake and bake... And for Mk. IX i must prefer a Eduard's - in overtrees edition is very, very, cheap -10GBP for each version...(Yes, you must buy a armor plate - for 2-5GBP(photo etch, resin...)... Or not ))This is only achilles hell of this gorgeous kit... And i hope for "Mid east war" decals in Profipack edition of Mk. IXe...
-
In last month Eduard's super limited edition "Naši se vracejí" (Our boys are back...) were most markings for IAF Spifires... In Royal Class is one Israeli Spit too... Yes, Egyptian decals are not included - but i'm sure decals producers made Mid east war decals soon And Airfix "nine" is really tragic kit
-
Nice decals option. But - Eduard's Mk IXc and IXe are better choice, no ?
-
Yes, but is Academy better as DML ? I have four Tiger II from DML (Porsche w.zimmerit, Henschel w.zimmerit, Henschel final production w. new pattern track and "half wreck" of Porsche without zimmerit) Last production i haven't and DML (this:http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/german/dml6209reviewcs_1.html) is expensive as Academy. Yes, and i can build another different. Not still Dragon, Dragon aaand - Dragon... But i know how accurate is new Tiger II from Korea ?
-
Academy made new Königs Tiger from final production block. Can you compare it with DML Tiger II ?DML is nice(i have four), it's Academy better ? I like this huge modern looking WW II monster...And new Tiger II is relative cheap...
-
I know something... An in last time popular kits producer may relased soon a complete new "Butcherbird´s family" in 1/72 ! I´m prefer a Messerschmitt´s(for international-non germany markings) but - for Lufwaffe fans it is probably a good new, no ?
