Very nice Typhoon , the engine and his installation looks gorgeous - but - why 1/24 ? I need it in 1/32.... 1/24 is too big. And i hope in 1/72 Car Door "Tiffy". Oh, wait, the level of details in cockpit, cannons, wheel bays... And it is "Fix" dude and "Fix" is cheap... No, no, i can't bought it... I CAN'T !

I yes i know, i'm a big Spit fan and i can build two desertized Mk. Ixc from new eduard's gem in RAF (polish sqdn.) and USAAF color in 1/48 but i can build a little different from early "BoB" spit's... Dark blue PRU Spit hear good - but have standard wing ? No longer tips as Mk. VIII ?

I look on my kit stack and found pair of "Fix" new tool Spitfire Mk. I/II. Flying this early version over Africa or MTO ? Or in desert are a Spitfire with canons (MK.V, Mk. VIII and MK. IX ) ? I can build a Spitfire with only MG weaponry in desert camo, it is "what if" or reality ? I never seen a Mk. I/II in desert coat...

Wait.... I suppose a Meng released new "Tank Mark" soon... Have it in logo of their WW I AFV series. And A.M. maybe released german soldiers separately...Price may be oscillated beyond 350-400GBP...

After a one year ago, in 1954, another pilot from Pilsen Fighter regiment, dislocated in Pilsen-Líně (czech: Plzeň - Líně) 5.slp, Poručík (Leutnant) Zdeněk Voleman, probably damaged a unidentified twin engined (propler) aircraft - maybe PV2 Neptune. His "Fagot" in this mission have auxillary tanks. I think - when you preferred a "baks" under wing- it isn't an error. My opinion is a Šrámek's MiG on this particular mission against USAF Thunderjets haven't baks and i can build it without, but Voleman's MiG a one year ago, have it... In both causes - Šrámek's and Voleman's kills we have still a few mysteries... Mr. Šrámek's is still alive, but Mr. Voleman passed away... "Baks" are really a only little problem (Americans never confirmed a damaged or shot down of any "Neptune"...and we can't know where was a "Šrámek's F-84" really shot down - over Czechoslovakia or over Bavaria ?He fall in Germany, but where Lt. Šrámek shoot on it ?

Ten colourful MiGs of Czechoslovakian Air Force. And in this limited edition is MiG-15 SB (Stíhací Bombardér=Fighter bomber) - "Fagot" improved as strike aircraft from late ´70 and early ´80. You have here pylons for missiles - this version never may relased later... (It is here a brassin parts for "SB" MiG).

MpM may relased soon a Vampire in small scale. But i don´t know version...

What ?! Fridrich is a total different aircraft as Emil. Buy excellent Zvezda's Bf 109F-2 and you can may be happy It's cheap and very nice

MpM Tempest isn't relased now... Only Pacific Coast Models and this is different kit (probably made by another czech producer - Sword.) I think a Clo Clo mount is possible in L.E...

Eduards "mark nine" is overall second best Spit on market. Whey you can spend a "lot money" you can choose a great Tamiya's 1/32 Spitfire too. But Eduard is too good choice, especially in Royal Class (15 camouflages+resin+photoetch and three subversions/wing config - early, late and "E"). Eduard announced a Mk. IXc "early" soon...

I look on my local modelshop to new Hurri Mk. IIC and Sea Hurri - fuselage is the same....

I don't know how popular are VVS aircraft from WW-II... Yak 9 was relased by ICM and Dako Plast about a decade and both are relative nice kits... LaGG-3 is the same case...I'm not sure a russian WW II aircraft are popular. Only 1/32 kit of russian aircraft from "Great Patriotic War" are a Il-2 from HobbyBoss. La-5 and La-5FN was probably released by Zvezda in click n'clack series.... Zvezda have it's own gorgeous La-5 family in 1/48, why not in 1/72 ? But - this is all...Soviet don't use many types...And another"western" mainstream company relased brand new"GPW" airplane in last years ? Tamiya only...(Sturmoviks). Academy's Ilyushas are ex Accurate Miniatures. When you relased Mustang, Spit, Mess or Focke-Wulf . you have 100% profit from this types...Maybee is problem too fresh historical remiscences in mid and eastern Europe.

Airfix kit was in czech republic nicknamed "stará vražda" = old murder. It is a worse new tool kit in Airfix series. Declared as G-6 but bulges (beule) was a typical for this version are one big bulge...and not two small. This fatal error is too on old kit of Bf 109G-6. I can't understand why Airfix this make...Airfix Bf 109G-6 isn't G-6, isn't G-10 or "Kürfürst"it is a ugly sweetheart... But i today saw a new tool Corgi kit of Bf 109G-6. Corgi is too under Hornby management and i hope in new and correct "Gustav" from Airfix soon...(Next year ?)

I don't like AZ model, but it is a new mould one of most important fighter in history. Finemolds is great, but very expensive.For me is in last time a 1/72 too tiny. And Revell may relased their Bf 109G in 1/72 too, why not. When AZ make not great "fail" it may be best "Gustav" in small scale. And i'am sure relased in triple pack (joypack) for nice price...

Hmmm, this look acceptable(for me)... And new fuselage with long nose - it's good ? I hope from new Hurri by Tamiya or Eduard but this is music of future....

Hi. I saw this on czech model forum. AZ model may prepare a Bf 109F/G/K series in 1/72. First may be Bf 109G-6 in WW II fascist Slovak state marking. I don't know why AZ must made a "F" when he have a cheap and accurate "Fridrich" from Zvezda but...It is Mess !

Hmm, but look on Tamiya. Tamiya made a one, two airplanes by year and every is gem. 1/32 Spitfire Mk. IX, Mustang, Corsair... Every is rellative expensive, but many people haven't problem pay it - when they are sure a Tamiya developed only quality kit. Or Eduard... Many companies relased their MiG's or Spitfires... But only Eduard make a different wings (Spitfire) or wings and airframe (MiG).OR DML - relased a 20 Tigers and King Tigers and every particular relase was improved. But by case of Mustang made DML a very poor kit... Why ? Mustang is one of most popular airplane of all times, we have preserved many warbirds... It is a ignoracy made a poor model of famous aircraft... Trumpeter have errors in models who are still in chinese army service. And this is a bit ironic, no ? It's better relased a pair accurate kits in one year above relased twenty bad kits on the same time.

In my opinion is HobbyBoss/Trumpeter a synonymous for chinese quality - in bad term of this word... They have a big potential - but - where is a research ? Why a 95% of HB/TRP kits have a fatal errors ? Why ignored a shaped problems, false details... When relased their MiG-21MF in 1/48 it is a parody. Fat ugly xxxxxx with short tail.... Wrong windshield and tail stabilisator and strange shapes in Spitfire MK. Vb.Really parody for Bf 109G...Bad shapes on Dana SP gun... Really ugly Gladiator in 1/72...And many many their kits was a copy of another elder kits... Is many chinese model companies, but i think a Trumper/hobby boss are worst... Yes, they have a few good kits. F-9F Panther, MiG-23, 1/72 Flanker family (but 1/32 are wrong...). On price tag - TRM/HB isn't cheap... And i look for quality, when i must pay a lot of money... And HB/TRM are a really very very controversy producer... Meng, AFV Club, Bronco, DML,Tristar etc... are too chinese companies, but make a better kits... Why ?

Eduard's Mk IX in 1/72 may be relased in summer 2015... It's in their latest info newsletter... Early Merlin powered Spit - i prefer Airfix. Is really very cheap, and you can choose between BoB Fighter standard of after war flat top and two blade prop... Tamiya is maybe a slightly better, but is expensive. Fix's Mk. IX isn't bad - is good accurate in shapes... but when you prefer a detailed model, it is a very "juniorized" kit.... Cockpit is tragic... (But it is a 1/72 only...) And Mk. Vb is best Tamiya... Airfix is old, Revell look strange and haven't "W wave" under belly, maybe Italeri is relative nice but not ideal... Mk. XIV -both razorback and bubble top are excellent from Fujimi... Very nice is "Super Spitfire" (MK.22) from Airfix and PR.XIX too...

On czech modelforum was this model discused -and result is: a BIG DISAPPOITMENT. Chunky details, ugly whells,round edges, zig-zag engraving.... I look on my piece-and i don´t say - Ohhh this is a crap... Yes, whells are really ugly, propeller look strange (is -thin ?) details on rear of cockpit tub isn´t so fine as in Revell kit. (I build it a 6x.) But whell well looks really good (only minor error is absence of bottom ammo boxes for MG´s) and i prefer a removed panel for accurate A-8/F-8. Only bad for me is absence of WGr 21 (Butcherbird of Schlange Geschwader carry it.) and really ugly whells. Yes - and double triangular panel on both sides of tail... I think - a nice little "Anton" for few bucks...

Revell have bomb payload too. And relative nice.
