  1. Yes, all 1:76 are old Matchbox. Cromwell, Tiger I and King Tiger are relative nice, but Tiger I "Late" need a zimmerit coating...
  2. Yes, sorry, dihedral, mea culpa.
  3. On czech model forums are new Hurri widely disscused. And it is here found a problem. Upper wing may have a different shape as bottom wing (look here at photographic evidence:http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=68170&start=3810) and may have a positive wingspan... Wing of Hurricane may be straight without any wingspan and new Hurri may have positive wingspan. ("As Lancaster"). Im not sure it is a error of pair pieces or all series... Can you confirm or deny it ?
  4. Airfix is Airfix, his own mould, i think.... Too from end of "Cold War" as all other kits, without Hasegawa, this is newest and most accurate, relase a ten years ago (2003).
  5. Worse copy of TAMIYA is only Mustang and 1/72 "Emil". ICM moulded many interesing types as TB-3 (re-relase please !), their Spitfire Mk. IX are too original mould, in AFV have giant soviet tank (T-38 ?) etc., etc... And now ICM co-operate with Tamiya (most Tamiya AFV have ICM figures...)
  6. Hasegawa. Most expensive but best Apache in market... Have all differences between "A" and "D" (LongBow) - shape of nose, sensors. Soom may be released israeli Apache. I hope for WAH-64 with decals for Apache of prince Harry. In second place is (IMHO) Academy (AFC club is the same kit in different box for higher price !) Nice and cheap, not to nice as Hasegawa but for 75% price. In last release was "grey" Apache from Afghanistan. Revell was now one WAH-64 on market, but it is a old kit. When you need a nice and accurate Apache - buy Hasegawa. Helicopter MUST have raise rivets and few lines, it is a realistic, helicopter isn't smooth as fighter. Unfortunately many companies ignore a raise rivets... Don't worry surface of Hawa is excellent !
  7. When you need a british razor back Mustang - buy Tamiya... Original is original...
  8. I mean Italeri A-10 isn't bad kit. Maybe Trumpeter(or HobbyBoss ?) is a little better, but Italeri is still a good representation of this popular "tank buster"... And Master now released a gorgeous GAU-8 Avenger metal kit...
  9. I hope in new Beau, Hurri Mk.I w.metal wing, car door Tiffy, Tempest, Lysander and Meteor and maybe Stirling. In 1/48 may be best a new Tempest Mk. V.
  10. Oh, sorry, can you deleted this topic ?
  11. Hmmm, excellent box art of "JABO" nice, but difficult"main" camo for 1/72.
  12. I build it last month. Still wait for "coat". IMHO it is a very nice kit, something superior, something worse as Revell kit. For me - have best gear bay, better gun installation and nicest surface and excellent canopy. Revell have best cockpit and in one box are two (sub)versions...(Nightfighter/Heavy fighter/Fighter bomber/quided missile carrier.) Airfix is a bit cheapest as Revell. I like it.
  13. I found this on ipmsdeutschland... 1/32 Obsolete F-4U-1D "Corsair" Brand new Bf 109G-10 "Erla Haube" (I hope for canon pods and grenade launchers in this variant.) Swiss/RAF FGA.9/F.58 Hawker Hunter. 1/28 Ancient biplanes Spad XIII & Camel.... 1/48 PBY-5A "Catalina/Canso" AH-64D "Apache" (????) 1/72 Blohm-Voss BV-222 V-2 "Wiking" F-16MLU "Eagle Demonstrator" (???) Gift set (???) "Flying Legends of Mighty Eight" (B-17,P-47D and P-51B ?) 1/144 Saturn V (brand new or Monogram ???) Space Shuttle tower/ramp
  14. Yup, i wait for new U-boot And Horten Ho-229 is very interesting subject.... Ok, i must wait to 18.December... Thanks !
  15. I look for new announcement in Telford, but all is a Typhoon, Typhoon - and Typhoon ? I saw a prototype of Horten "stealth fighter" - but - this is all... What another kits are announcement in Telford ? I heard about Tiger Moth in 1/72 from Airfix.... But i never seen a artwork or picture Is confirmed a Beaufighter from Airfix and Mosquito from Tamiya in 1/32 or it is a rumor only ?
  16. I hope in Yugoslavian marking in another re-boxing... How many aces flying this initial fabric wings Hurricane ?
  17. I know, Vulcan is a British pride but look - most famous and still in service, legendary western strategic bomber - american B-52 don't exist as 1/48 kit. And when i can choose between Vulcan and Boeing i choose - naturally - B-52. Vulcan in 1/48 must be a "big piece of furniture" i have in my shelf a B-58 Hustler (too delta bomber) and it is a beast and Vulcan is biggest as Hustler. Typhoon was in atypic scale - first reaction around the internet discussion groups are - woo - hoo - i don't make a 1/24 but i must have it ! I hope in releasing a 1/72 new tool Vulcan (and B-52 series) but i'm very sceptic for release Vulcan in 1/48. I think - it is a attractive aircraft for british modelers but for abroad modelers... (as i....) - Tiffy is better choice... When i was (hypothetic) CEO of kit company and must make a 1/48 jet strategic bomber i choose first B-52 (G/H and later 'Nam version), in second place a Tu-95 "Bear" and in third place a Vulcan... B-52 fight in many wars in last fifty years, flew as experimental platform for X-15 and it is one of most famous aircraft today. "Bear" is as B-52 still in service, and it is a iconic turbo prop monster... Vulcan most successful mission is in Falkland war and today is this heavy bomber retired... Can you RAF bomber in 1/48 ? OK - i can - a - Halifax ! This type exist as ugly short run from Mach 2.... Or naturally - new Lancaster, upgraded Tamiya is relative nice... I think a WW-II is most popular as cold war or today conflicts....
  18. I hope in metal canons... The solid muzzle of barrel looks really ugly...
  19. LOL, the the cannons haven't barrel bore....
  20. Maybe i bought one Tiffy. For me is a bit attractive "car door" then czech pilot Jiří Maňák flew it and survived an emergency landing into Atlantic. And next may be - a.... Spitfire Mk. IX !!!! )))) Big Bad Spit !!! YUP !
  21. Very nice ! I still wait when "Doobi" was in stock on Prague MS.... And still - not available...
  22. Yes, i know, balsa made wooden wonder. Smooth finish. In one MS in Prague is this gigantic Mossie still on stock, for retail price. It's probably don't a bestseller in Czech. (Naturally, many Mossies flying in post war Czechoslovakian Air Force in very nice silver "coat"-but 1/24 is really too big and IMHO model isn't good as year youngest Tamiya Spitfire in 1/32. But, when i see this excellent Typhoon with very complexed engine, this is a "another league".
  23. Mosquito in real is one nicest aircraft of all times. But when i saw first time a 1/24 kit - i must say - what it is ? For me is a "Fix Mossie" big disappointed... But this Tiffy looks much better ! (I read a Mosquito was a canceled and rebirth project from '80.) Tiffy looks as modern kit with all features... (Riveting, very detailed engine, canons and "pit".) I bet a Tiffy can be cheapest as Tamiyas 1/32 WW II birds... Only the scale.... i'm don't collect a 1/24... but this beast real look good! Maybe Airfix downscaled it to 1/32 ?
  24. Another new - french heavy tank St. Chammond in 1/35 by Takom. http://www.militarymodelling.com/sites/1/images/member_albums/40218/474404.jpg
