  1. Oh yes. There is a Spooky ghost figure as well as Puff the Magic Dragon nose art options. Regards Toby
  2. Hi Dan I have some Microscale decals for this including Puff the Magic Dragon in a white over silver/NMF colour scheme if you like. Regards Toby
  3. Hi there Pat I hope this does not throw petrol on to the fire but I was very pleased with my Brigade Mk XII when I built it with the advertised Italeri bits. A big plus was the Brigade set came with decals. The Mk XII really looks different from the Merlin models and all the later Griffon versions. Regards Toby
  4. Tamiya laquer white is also fantastic, sprays well and does not need many coats. It dries in no time as well. regards Toby
  5. The Revell Cobra builds very easily into a nice model, the same can be said for the Academy AH-64 which comes with British weapons. regards Toby
  6. Good to see you building a 1/72 scale kit Mark๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š Regards Toby
  7. Hmmm, seeing as this is the best 1/72 B-29 kit it does not matter if its wings do not agree with peopleโ€™s ideaโ€™s of what the measurements should be. I built one a few years ago with an Alclad NMF and it looked like a B-29 to me. ๐Ÿ˜Š Regards Toby
  8. Thats a very big white model there Ray. Well done๐Ÿ‘ Regards Toby
  9. Happy days for this kit in 1/72 ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
  10. Does this kit have RAM panels that standup above the aircraft skin? Regards Toby
  11. Hi Mark Will you be using the Vingtor decals on this one? The decal set comes with several colour options. Regards Toby
  12. To resurect this this thread, on second thoughts could an Arma Hobby P-51B have its nose cut off and turned into a Merlin Mustang Prototype? Photoยดs of the Brengun P-51A seem to skow an exagerated nose up attitude, maybe its undercarriage legs are too long. Regards Toby
  13. The latest Airfix Mk 1 is easy to build with good shape. Just fill in the over-deep panel lines with Milliput before you start glueing the parts together. Regards Toby
  14. The Y**tube video I found had the colurs done 1 at at time. Thar way you can stop before it gets to dark or yellow. Regards Toby
  15. How about painting the nose white and the masking the white stripe with 2 lengths of 1 mm wide masking tape to give the correct white stripe width. Then cover over the section between the 2 first tape sections. Then paint white and then the Olive Drab. Regards Toby
  16. Something that also works is to spray a thin layer of Tamiya Smoke before the yellow, but do both colours on the inside. A dip in Future returns the shiny canopy finnish. Regards Toby
  17. Dear Ced Maybe you know this alreadt but I have found MPM kits need a lot of test fitting and forward planning. I really like their kits but with every one some during the build there is something major that does not fit well, normally wing roots, canopies or undercarriage legs. Test fitting these parts early in the build sequence avoids having to cut the kit aprt to fix, ask me how I know๐Ÿ˜Š Regards Toby
  18. Well done. The shortened nose landing gear really makes a difference along with the nose cone and decals. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š regards Toby
  19. Adding on to CTยดs post, Have Glass paint looks different in different lighting conditions. I built an F-35 recently and looking on line there is a strong contrast with the paler grey at the intake area in strong sun or when the plane is surrounded by snow. In overcast weather, the contrast disappears and the dark Have Glass grey is very dark. You take your pick ๐Ÿ˜Š regards Toby
  20. Dear Fin Have you seen this brush painted Have Glass F-16? Regards Toby
  21. Dear Fin MR Paint make Camouflage grey that goes on well. For the metallic finish they make a seperate varnish but I chose to spray a thin coat of Alcald Magnesium over my F-35 models. Regards Toby
  22. Cracking build Dermot. The T-38 really suits the Nasa colour scheme, well done Regards Toby
  23. Dear Roland What is your cunning plan for getting the nose wheel on the ground? regards Toby
  24. Hi Pete Have you seen this Gunbus build? regards Toby
  25. Hi Zebra Looking good so far, do you have enough nose weight in the fuselage? regards Toby
