Hi there Did all types of Mustang have the same undercarriage length? Some models I have built, 1/72 Academy, seem to have the nose pointing too high when compared to the Tamiya Mustangs becasue the legs seem too long. Most side on Mustang pictutes show the main undercarriage door edge being around the wheel hub centre. Any ideaβs? Regards Toby

Hi Brian Keep up the good work of fill, sand prime and repeat. Alclad Polished Aluminium really can be nice and shiny but it needs a gloss black base that has been itself polished. A few cycles more might be needed. Regards Toby -
Scale Black according to Brett Green over on Hyperscale uses normal black mixed with red as the base coat, then actual black as needed. Regards Toby

Azur 1/72nd scale Martin Maryland I, Finished
Planebuilder62 replied to Mr T's topic in World War 2 Twins Mega GB
Hi Mr T The nose transparencies are tricky to get together, there is a build somewhere here on BM to get an idea and come up with solutions. Maybe the 2 sides can have their common joining surface backed with plastic card to align them and make a strong joint. As this part of the nose is painted, that might work. Regards Toby
