  4. thanks again chris for posting this desert version-my Airfix .1/24 Hurricane which I bought in the UK couple of years ago for 20 on some internet sale will be definetely in this great sand look. Hope some decal will be useful from the kit. The rest with masks. So I am goig to remove dust from the box and to search for historic pictures:) martin

  7. I think Italeri and Airfix kits are the same...mine Italeri example had excellent fuselage fit but it needed bit of filler to the part where fuselage connect with wings. Your model looks nice... I agree with Val that Dakota is beatiful plane. I have old monogram 1:48 on my table...unfortunatelly still no time to finish it...but my youngest daughter asked me yesterday when I am going to finish that big plane which is still under sofa ...so I have to find a time and start Martin

  13. thank you for the info about decals it is good news that they are white enough after drying without painting, masking. I am looking forward on my Hawk which is waiting in the box. Martin

  15. Excellent finish with gloss colour...very clean and beatiful model. Could I ask you about decals? You wrote that decals are from the box...was there any problem with "slighty pink white" on white arrows, stipes... on the red surface due to poor opacity? Because on your pictures it seems shiny white (not the pink white:) Thank you Martin

  22. Dakota is my favourite plane. And your model is very nice and great inspiration to finish C-47 from Revell-Monogram sleeping under my bed:-)-only interior is finished.
  23. nice and rare model. This reminds me time when i was a kid and my father was building this veb-plasticart models for me:)
  24. thanks to all for nice comments and my daughter was very supprised to see her build on the internet , so we will keep on modelling:)
  25. And one correction (maybe useful for next builders) position of the guns should be closer to the pilot and fuselage-see attached picture with corrected position of the guns
