  1. As I said in an earlier post i would have to now wait for the glamour shots of this wonderful model. Well now we are there!!! Excellent work. Now Codger you can start to compete with Michael Paul Smith and his Elgin Park series . You have similar talents. I hope Harry is having a peek. Cheers Les
  2. Each morning I go to my mail box and look for the words Britmodeler a BIG RR. Now what will I do Codger? Will have to wait for the glamour shots of the Masterpiece. Well done!!
  3. Roy`s comments may bring out a number of lurkers like myself. I love this build as I am a 1/16 fan and have built most of the interesting Entex models which I source from the USA as they are rare in Australia. My three RR were fun builds but not the quality or challenge of a Pocher. I will be sorry when eventually this build ends. Back to lurking!! Regards Les
  4. Am searching for instruction booklet for the 1/16 Scale Bugatti Royale. Can anyone help? Ginger.
  5. Having seen the mention of tyres in this astonishing build brought to mind the trouble I had last week with my build of the Revell Rolls Royce Phantom 11 in 1/16 scale. As the kit has been sitting around for probably 35 years some features are showing age. The tyres were stiff and skinny and a little twisted in alignment . When placed on the rims they showed gaps and were wobbly..so I rolled up some tissue and stuffed them into each tyre. The result was that they ballooned out sat on the rims correctly and seem more natural on the ground. Simple solution but I was happy with result. Les
  6. I have just opened my 1937 PACKARD COUP Roadster. It is 1/16 scale with the Entex label. The mouldings are branded BANDAI and made in Japan. I was interested in this model as I have just finished the Bentley Blower. This model appears to be around 1980 by the codeing on the build instructions. I must say I am very impressed with the mouldings in this large kit. This amount of detail and finish is a surprise to me taking the age into consideration. I am looking forward to this build......a big decision as to what colour..but that will come later. Ginger
  7. Tell him you will settle on an hourly rate! That will make any offer he suggests a great buy. Les
  8. Although I have been modelling for years I did not know that such detailed models existed until I found this forum. I was taken by a photo of a Bentley Blower model and so searching the internet brought me to this incredible build .I can see the why the cost of these models are high compared to the 1/35 and 1/24 scales but believe it justified. Keep up the inspiring work my friend I cherish each notification on my mail list. Ginger
