Thanks everyone for your input So I can easily use braZ engine fan and exhaust without the need to adjust the engine housing ? I am in New Zealand, which site sells and ships braZ internationally ? I emailed FDCAL and hopefully they can help with detail decals. I never used transparent passenger windows on a kit before . do you guys recommend me to use it ?

Hello all and happy New year My next build is going to be a Zvezda TU154M Caspian airliner, which crashed in 2009. This is going to be have a very special place for me so I want to make it as best and as detailed as possible. A well known member of this forum is kind enough and making the decals for the airliner for me. However I thought to ask couple of questions and have you best advice : 1- what are the aftermarket parts that can add noticeable difference and realism to the model ? 2- who makes the details decals ( not the airliner livery ) for this aircraft ? 3- what paints and color codes should I use ? 4- any tips or trick for the build itself ? Oh forgot to ask if the 1/72 comes with the Phoenix and sparrow missiles ? What weapons included in hobby boss ? Where can I find a reasonable prices hobby boss kit? I live in New Zealand so shipping cost is something to consider.

Thank you all for your suggestions I think the 1/72 Hasegawa would be the good choice for me based on the review. Might look at the 1/48 kit from Hasegawa as long as it's not going to be too expensive ( to match the scale of my 1/48 mig21 )

Yes sorry I meant 1/48 it was a typo. Which of the two do you recommend ? Are they the accurate variant ? Would I need after market parts to detail it more? Are the 1/72 kit decals and details of the kit good ?

Hello all, I am planning to build an Iranian Air Force F-14 model either in 1/72 or 1/42. I found the Hasegawa 1/72 scale with Iranian airforce marking. But I would like to know if that kit is a detailed and accurate one? Is there a 1/42 scale which is highly detailed and the correct variant of the aircraft? Many thanks Ben
